It holds the bit in, but won't allow it to ratchet. You can still use it, but it can't really perform its coolest trick. Otherwise, it's fine.

Very good quality. It’s kinda small which fits for the small things with not much space to move

Cheap imitation. No ratcheting function even though the description clearly says so: "It uses a dynamic ratcheting beam which stays completely rigid when rotating the bit to screw it in." Several pictures are of the $36 version. False advertising.

Ratcheting action does not work. Any Screw large enough to be driven by the flat blade tip will be too large to be tightened or broken free by any tool this small. Complete design fail.

Cheap imitation. Poor build quality and finishing and claim that ratcheting function works is a complete lie. Amazon needs a way to remove these embarrassing counterfeiters off their marketplace.

Very disappointed it's smaller than I thought and the supposed ratchet for the screwdriver doesn't work..

Full disclosure. I gut this POS clone through a different shopping site. However it is EXACTLY the same design die/stamped out pieLearned a huge lesson. Don't buy clones. The primary gimmick is there is a ratcheting feature if you are driver bits (one is included). Problem is that the copy cats failed to under stand the design or the opening that alows this to work and your stuck with a static bit holder that will not ratchet for anything. There are other features in this thing that were poorly copied. So yeah, if you want this kind of keychain tool. Open up your wallet and dole out the FULL $38 for the original one that will work.
