This clock is a handsome addition to a wall of my apartment. The Westminster chimes are nice! They chime a couple of minutes early though. My only complaint is the setup and assembly instructions were vague. They were in several languages, including English, and probably that way in all of them. This is particularly true of the pendulum assembly. Luckily I figured everything out on my own and got it assembled, setup and operating on a wall in my dining room. I would recommend it to anyone interested in getting a wall clock of this type!

I've had this clock for 8 years now. It still looks nice and it keeps time fairly well... it gains about 5 minutes over the course of 6 months. The chime sorta works still--it'll chime correctly on the quarter hours, but sometime in the last couple of years, the chime count for the actual time has gone totally out of whack... chiming the wrong number of times... and not sequentially either, such that it could be fixed by moving the hour hand. The "clock works" aren't terribly sophisticated, the chime is electronic, so I'm not sure how something like that breaks. Oh well.Update: Just checked.. the Howard Miller Official Web Site sells the "battery movement" replacement part (354472) for about $70 currently.

Perfect size - not too big... not too small. Wood color rich medium oak. Wonderful workmanship.

I love the quarterly your chiming. We can't get it to chime at exactly on the hour and quarterly...a minute or two early or late.

We always wanted a chiming clock... It took awhile to get it...but this is the right one. It is very goodlooking and fits well in a number of places in our home ..not too big and not too small. The chiming is easy on the ear and beautifully done. This is unique item and will give longlasting pleasure

Clock is attractive and appears to be made well.Keeps great time and silence control is great since I like it loud during the day.Has volume adjustment and swinging pendulum .My grandfather clock stopped bonging so this is now the heart beat of the house. This is the second Howard Miller clock I have purchased. Got one for Daughter for wedding present 3 years ago and still going strong.Hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

I needed to replace a wall clock and wanted one with Westminster chimes.This one is perfect to look at and has lovely chimes.The cabinet is made of beautiful wood and neither too dark or too light.
