This Nerf gun is AWESOME! As a family, we love it! We've had so much fun with it that we have decided to pick up another 2 Nerf weapons so we are all armed and dangerous!The gun is well built and is bright and vibrantly colored. It is so much fun to use around the house! It has good power and can easily shoot over 50 feet. I've been shot up-close and its painless.The front pink bracket works as a holder for more darts. It does seem to deform them slightly as it the holes are a bit too small. It hasn't ruined the darts (yet?) though.We will definitely have to get refill darts. We've lost 2 in the first day owning it!My only complaint about this item is the PRICE! What is the deal? Typically Amazon prices are very competitive. We almost bought this online until we found it in our local Walmart for $5 cheaper! Walmart has this for a few pennies under $10. Until Amazon brings their prices back down - pick it up there instead.

I purchased this for a 9 year old as part of her Christmas. I received the toy quickly through Amazon Prime. As soon as she opened it, she had a great time playing with it. We really liked how easy it was to use: Simply insert the foam dart, pull back the pin, & fire away! It is a smaller, more compact Nerf gun, but it shoots further than we imagined! The darts are fairly soft, so they don't hurt if they hit you. (Just no aiming at a face!) The style & graphics are neat & the gun itself is high quality. It's about time Nerf had options for girls! I highly recommend purchasing a refill pack of darts because this only comes with a few darts. You cannot beat the price for this on Amazon. I paid $7.99 then saw it at Wal Mart for $9.99! With free 2 day shipping, this was a sweet deal. I highly recommend this toy because it's tons of fun for all ages & very affordable. Thanks Amazon for saving me during the holiday season!

very cool, but this thing shoots very hard for a kids toy. it stings!! it is also very hard to pull the back part back to load the gun and she needs constant adult help for it. the "ammo" is not like traditional nerf darts. it is only styrofoam with no hard tube to dupport it internally so they break way faster and easier. very cool design and paint and colors but is clearly made for way older kids as it is just too hard for the age it said it was appropriate for. she just got frustrated and it is now a donated item. :(

I bought this to use with my pink power ranger costume. I know... not very authentic but have you tried to find a pink power ranger bow and arrow? It's nearly impossible. Anyhow, I had a lot of fun shooting people in the face with this at the Halloween party. DON'T AIM FOR THE EYES. I wish it came with a holster or something to hold the darts because those things were not easy to find after I unleashed my wrath. But I'm sure some crafty type person can sew one. I am not that person. If you are, I might be interested in buying one from you because I cannot forsee myself retiring the pink power ranger costume ever.Oh, I should add, it comes with a little attachment so you can actually make it look like a bow and arrow. How's that for authenticity??!?

This is a perfect stocking stuffer or gift in general. I will say that this thing packs a punch! The power is very surprising so be careful when aiming. The quality is as good as any nerf gun and has survived several drops, kicks and throws.

This blaster is great! My nieces (3 and 4) are probably a little young for these but they're obsessed with superheroes and gear. I didn't choose the bow and arrow or the crossbow because after watching a video I thought they were a little too advanced. This blaster looked perfect and it is. Once they got the hang of it they could do it completely on their own. It's well made and very pretty. The "arrows" actually shoot very far and don't hurt when they hit you. I only had one complaint and that is that I wish the blaster came with more "arrows". There are just not enough. I suggest you buy a package of extras as they get shot around, they're small and very easily lost. Great present. I loved it and the kids loved it. Fun thing for the whole family to do together.

I know the age is 8 and up but i bought this for our 4 years old for her birthday and she LOVES it!!! I love the fact that it has designs and colors for girls, her favorite color is pink. The pull mechanism in the back can be a little difficult to pull back but she is getting the hang of it. We did have to help the first few times. I think this is a great, affordable toy that provides hours of fun! I feel the age limit on it is set a little high. This was a last minute addition to her birthday gifts and ended up being her favorite one! SO glad she has enjoyed it and to be honest can't wait till she gets a little older so that we can get more Nerf stash!
