I purchased this upon the advice of my chiropractor to help with my IT band injury. I actually wear it above the knee for this particular issue, so had to purchase a size larger. It's a bit difficult to keep it up, as obviously something wants to slide down to a smaller area, but aside from that annoyance that has zero to do with the band itself, I like it.Simple design, yet seems to be well made. I like that I can toss it in the washing machine, because I wear it for sports and hiking/climbing so it gets dirty and sweaty. If you're in the market for a cho pat for any reason, I recommend this one as it seems to be very durable,

I measured below my knee four times for a consistent 15”. The large size strap is too big and will need to order the medium. The focused tube compression is one the better designs. I did feel instant relief. The rear Velcro scratches the leg when fully flexing the knee.

I ordered the XL based on the sizing recommendation. I tried it once and it didn't really help. I'm not sure if it is just ineffective or it was because the strap kept sliding down after I started walking.In the future I'll pay more attention to the return and exchange policy and only.The Return policy is deceptive and misleading. It says "Return Policy: Eligible for Refund or Replacement"Only after you click on that will you see the message that it is NOT eligible for returns

This strap works well, especially for running, but the velcro is bulky and located behind the knee. If you do leg exercises that bend the knee greater than walking or running, the velcro is irritating. The velcro closure should be on the side as forward possible.

The best brace to buy at the onset of knee pain as many times the cause of the pain is a tendonitis. This simple, light weight brace, stabilizes the patella(knee cap) while the tendon rests and heals. Personally I have recommended this brace to at least 20 friends and they all of got better within 2 to 3 weeks. And....this treatment is safe, non-invasive, time, and cost effective. Wear it only while awake and throughout day. Take off to sleep at night. whenever my knee acts up, I pull out my Cho Pat wear it ......and it always gets better.

I bought the large for my son and despite measuring his circumference and being in the middle of the sizing for the large, it was way too big. Will exchange for the medium.I am familiar with this brace and comfort and pain relief were based on prior experience.
