Son, you got a panty on your head...
Basically thin, flimsy, stretchy, sheer but opaque, nylon underpants fabric. My husband legit thought I’d modified some panties to hang off my ears (he’s pretty). Sort of tug on your ears just a bit. I wear to play tennis or do other outdoor stuff and protect my face/chest/neck. They are cool and you barely notice them. Wear a hat or visor to cover your ears and sort of counteract the ear pulling. People with smaller heads may not feel the gentle ear tug. You can stretch it so it’s not covering your nose and mouth and it will “stay” where you put it. I think the nuns called them “wimples”? Not too bad to breathe through. I simply can NOT get sun on my neck/side of face due to medical issues and this does the trick. Probably not GREAT UV coverage but absolutely better than nothing and reasonably priced. Hard to find something (gaiters, I’m looking at you!) that actually covers the area immediately below the neck and back of neck. You could easily tuck it in a shirt or drape it over a round or v-neck tee and have nothing exposed. But you’re going to look goofy. But hey, you’ve gotta do what you’ve got to do in order to recreate outdoors in the South. The white FAR better in appearance than the beige/peachy panty colored one. Hope someone can use this info and product! And that they got the “Raising Arizona” reference. ;)

If you must...
Given the current nonsense afoot, and the verifiable reality that a face covering is not per se barrier to ANY potential "invader" of the microscopic variety, there may still be moments wherein a person must diaper their lower facial region. For persons with facial pain, nerve damage, low O2 sat/hypoxia issues etc, clamping metal bands around the nose, tightly binding elastics about the head and such may not be medically feasible or wise.Being such a person who has had multiple reconstructive surgeries to the face, including the use of ear cartilage to create the bridge of the nose, I can tell you wearing ANYTHING across my face or pulling on an ear is NOT an option - this includes glasses, tight hats and so on.For the brief moments (such as taking my dog into the vet for surgery) when it's simply easier to cover my face than to explain why I do not cover my face, this is the most comfy option. This is a very light fabric and does not pull on my ears or rest heavily on the area where I have no solid nose-bridge. Would I wear it for hours? Nope. While exercising? Oh heck no. But it sits comfortably about the neck and can quickly be put in place for those special moments.Personally, I find this style of mask very attractive. lol this is likely an aesthetic bias, but I think many women will also enjoy the "look" this provides.

Poor design
Material is soft thin and light and easily inhaled into your mouth and nose. Poorly thought placement for ear holes are just two slits cut into this sleeve causing Your line of sight to be compromised. I can’t work with it.

Does the job
It's hard to keep it on, it slips off. But it does the job. I personally get hot with it and sweat. I stopped using them in summer. I would get back to it in winter.

Covers neck and nose! Earloops are great!
I used to cut my own ear loops on buffs to make them stay on my face! Good that these have it already!I like this product because it completely covers the neck. The cloth has a 'falll. I have couple of buffs but they bunch up and back of neck remains exposed. These masks are light weight and do not hinder breathing.I am taking one star away because the scarves smelled like petroleum/chemicals . Had to wash couple times before using. Secondly I kinda doubt about having UV50+ protection. It is only mentioned here on Amazon but couldn't find on scarves packaging (just a plastic bag). Hope they actually have the protection. All in all these scarves/masks shall at least protect my face from sunburn and bugs while hiking.BTW i bought it with my own money. I haven't been offered the product for free.

Not as it appears
Does not wear like the photo shows. Too narrown to reach to the shoulders. I was wanting that as the masks required today are too tight. So is this. No way it is unisex.

Comfortable, stays put, breathable, thin
I am one of those people that HATES wearing masks and experiences a lot of anxiety when wearing one. These help A LOT. They are super thin, so probably not a ton of protection, but it stays on well with the ear loops, and rests nicely around your neck when it isn't needed. I feel like I can breathe better (again, that probably means less effective against covid), so my anxiety doesn't ramp up when I am wearing this.
