Works great
I use this on a 100lbs heavy bag, the tension seems just right. I had to shorten the bag chain to account for the 6” length of the spring so my head punches land more in the middle of my bag. I like the simplicity of the hook, it makes hanging the bag by yourself very easy and hasn’t fallen off yet during a workout. The hook clearance is small, it won’t come off my ceiling hardware without the removal of a bolt, however the steel ring on my bag is narrow enough to pass over the hook very easily. I can see it flexing quite a lot, absorbing a lot of shock from the ceiling joist.

Resistance Spring with hook
Spring not yet tested for durability but appears to be functional.

Heavy duty spring for vibration and shock absorption!
This is super heavy duty! I am using it with a 65 Lb bag and it barely stretches any...can definitely hold a lot more weight than that. The spring allows the bag and the area to absorb the shock and not pass it to where it’s screwed into the beam which reduces vibration in the house and also keeps it from swinging wildly. Great product and a must have for any punching bag.

Works Well!
I’ve recently replaced my old heavy bag and moved it to the garage from the basement. I’ve been training with heavy bags for over twenty five years now. I wanted a spring for my new 100 pound heavy bag to minimize vibration and add some bounce to the bag. The spring does the trick. It’s early to install and doesn’t have much flex with a 100 pound bag. Looks like the spring could easily handle a much heavier heavy bag too.

Sturdy spring
The media could not be loaded. I have this holding up my punching bag which is 80 pounds in weight. The spring is advertised as being able to support up to 150 pounds. I’d say it can certainly hold that amount and likely more. At ~140 pounds I decided to hang on my punching bag to see the effect it would have on the spring. I didn’t hang on for very long however, the only thing I noticed was it just started to open up by a couple of millimeters on the top few coils. Using my advanced math skills I can vouch that this spring will support up to 220 lbs if not more ( although I’d probably stick to the advertised max for longevity)When using the punching bag I can hear and feel the spring absorbing the forces placed upon it.This is one heavy duty spring!

Great product for heavy bags 100lb+
I have a 100lb heavy bag that hangs from my ceiling and I can say that this is very effective and is perfect for absorbing shock. I used to also have a lighter heavy bag and I say that it's not for heavy bags under 100lbs. It's very heavy duty, if you have a lighter heavy bag I suggest looking into some smaller springs.

Another great product that works very well with their wooden beam heavy bag hanger
I used this to hang a 100-lb heavy bag in my garage. Pretty sure the wooden beam hanger is screwed to a 2x12 in the ceiling, which happens to be running parallel with another 2x12 right next to it for some engineering reason (they may be 2x10, don't really remember). I also installed a really thick layer of this foam material between the beam hanger and the ceiling that. With this spring and the beam hanger, everything is really nice and quiet and solid!
