I bought this blanket to be a decorative throw. It is not soft, and I wouldn’t gift it to anyone as not everyone’s taste would be suited for this item. I think it is super cute and durable feeling. I thoroughly enjoy how this blanket looks, but it is definitely not snuggle ready.

this is not a cozy soft throw. it has the feel of burlap and smells like it was dipped in toluene...it would make a fine beach or picnic blanket, or perhaps a throw to cover a couch but not the type of blanket you'd want to snuggle up under. We decided it wasn't worth washing to try to remove the smell and returned.

It is a heavy weight without being to warm. It looks great as an accent in my living room. The texture is more rough then I thought it would be but still nice and cozy. When I took it out of the package it was very rough a good wash and use softens it up quite a bit.

Cute, but it arrived smelling horrific and after one wash (gentle cycle with no other items in the washer) the color bled into the tassels and now they're slightly green-ish.

This throw added the perfect touch to my new office space. While there are cheaper throws out there I felt it was worth the money to get something different yet of good quality.

Colors exactly as shown. Not thread dyed. A little heavy for summer but perfect for fall.

I didn’t are for this throw, it’s, well....ugly. The fabric is very thin and rough on your skin and it feels really cheap. The printed color on one side only looks old and faded and the mint green tassels don’t go with this at all, there is no green on the throw. It’s like burlap sack material, nothing you want to wrap up in. My husband came home and saw it on the couch and asked “what’s that thing, were you at the thrift store?”I would not recommend this one.

I like the overall look and design of this rug -- it has a southwestern vibe, and the colors work well in a room that may otherwise be pretty neutral and boring. Bonus for the tassels, too, which so far have been durable (it's been about 8 months).However, as far as utility goes, this material is scratch and kinda stiff. It's fine for decor, but I wouldn't count on snuggling with it. Since all my blankets must be snuggle ready at all times, regardless of style, I have to give this only two stars.
