Mastercraft Collection Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird Mach 3+ USAF Air Force NASA Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft Jet Supersonic Aircraft Model Scale: 1/72

I get to walk around and to touch the real SR-71 Blackbird at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona. You cannot substitute that experience for anything in the world. They will not let me bring it home, either, so...this is the best I can do! It really is an awesome model and, since I just got it, it is fair to assume that I will spend plenty of time admiring it. Well constructed, all details matched. The stand and arm are solid and quite elegant. The kind of model you would find on United States Air Force Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper's desk! You would sit there admiring the SR-71 while he rumbles on and on and on about those doggone commies conspiracy to sap and contaminate all of our precious bodily fluids!

Very well made and realistic and you get what you paid for. I do have a small complaint though, the thing is huge, and it literally takes up 2/3 of my desk. Other than that it's great!

Very disappointed the plane is made of cheap wood has very little detail and is not accurate to the specifications of the aircraft came in a China box with chipped paint on nose cone already. Definitely does not deserve the word master in any fashion. The picture of the plane on the Amazon list was different then the plane I received. Price is far beyond quality I would rate it at a 30 or 40 dollar price range as far as quality.

You get what you pay for. Definitely not a toy.
