Excellent customer service (if you have an issue with any of their products, they will help address it!), so I am very happy to give them a stellar review for this powder, which had an immediate and extremely helpful affect!How it helped:I have been plagued with severe anxiety and anger for months. I took kava kava for the worst episodes, but that can't be taken long term and has only short term affects so I kept searching. I even made an appointment to see if I could get on medication, then Primal Herbs recommended this powder to help with the issue, and it felt like I'd had an entire acupuncture treatment after I drank it the first time! Now I take it in the morning and before bed (it helps me sleep too) and it's really made all the difference. I'm very grateful to this company! Ok, I will stop gushing now!Who else it may work particularly well for:I should say I tend to know asap when something does or doesn't work for my system, so I'd expect for most people it might take longer to notice the effects- taking it on a regular daily basis for a few weeks should show improvement though.Perhaps it works best for certain body types as well? So if you're like me: tend to be a worrier, your body gets cold fast, and have a high metabolism, it may be just the thing! Also, I've tried some Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal remedies (Free and Easy Wanderer Plus (Jia Wei Xiao Yao San)) which never really did much or had side effects like gas- this doesn't. So if you've tried that remedy and it didn't work for you- or you're often diagnosed by your acupuncturist with high yang and liver/ spleen deficiency, this might work well for you too.Hope that helps!

Purchased a 4oz bag (exp 12/22/19) and this batch is not bitter. A teaspoon mixed with 2oz.hot water is still mild and pleasant tasting. I do feel more calm and relaxed after consumption, yet still able to perform well at my job.Purchased this products specifically to substitute morning 5 hour energy shots and the need for caffeinated beverages in general. So far i've been able to do so with very little side-effects. A couple headaches off the bat, however none after a weeks time.In conclusion i'll likely continue to drink Jiaogulan as a tea long-term, however I'll shop competitively for a better price, so long as the quality is the same or similar.

I can say it definitely helps with endurance. I noticed it immediately upon taking prior to 2 hour bike rides. The recovery time afterwards is also shortened. I bought it in part to lose weight since I read that Gynostemma is synergistic with Berberine and Quercetin for helping burn belly fat. Its too early to tell as Ive only taken it for a couple of weeks. But if its making itself known by helping with energy levels during the day or during exercise, than I must say its possible that it is having effect on other areas this herb is known for. Mixes very well with coffee and the taste is barely noticeable. But the taste is not bad or bitter anyway.

This became a personal favorite from Primal Herb's right after the first test of it in some decaf earl gray tea after my morning coffee. This right off the bat for me had a body balancing effect. Before I took it I was extremely stressed out, my body tension was through the roof, and my emotions we're all over the place. But upon having it in some tea I was back in control. I'll have to keep using it throughout the week to see what it does for me in all ordinary situations but from what I got so far it's great for stress management and body/mental balancing.

I will be stopping the subscription order on this for two reasons: the product was changed without notification prior to shipping, and the price increased. I normally add this to my chai in the morning as all the other spices hide the taste. The new formula has monk fruit as an ingredient. And goji berries. I’ve not cracked it open, but I don’t want any additional sweeteners, nor do I need added flavors. I liked being able to sprinkle a half teaspoon or so in and I also now have to double that to get the same amount as the prior version. Moving to a pill form that I may just break open in my chai anyway.

I love the gynostemma; NOT impressed with PrimalHerb now including the useless Goji berry.I'm paying for Gynostemma, NOT Goji. STILL not a fan of the large bamboo spoons (thrown away) which will not fit in the opening of a normal size water bottle, and I've been waiting to see if your company will switch back to the two ZipLoc style bags in lieu of these messy, perma-sealed silver pouches, and you haven't-This is now my last order from your company. I have cancelled my subscription.If the recent packing in the silver pouches is in response to not allowing light to detract from potency, the boxes themselves inhibit any and all light from being detrimental.All potential customers, you've been warned.

I TRIED OTHER THAT HAVE SAME PROPERTIES BUT SENT BACK. THIS ONE HAS A MILD FLAVOR AND I BELIEVE IT WOULD GO GOOD WITH ANY BEVERAGE. ONCE AGAIN, THEY DID NOT PAY ME TO SAY THIS, LOL , BUT THEY SHOULD.

I had loved the previous version of this product: 100% gynnostemma in great quality.But now that has been halved and other ingredients have been added like rhodiola (okay), goji berry (contains glycosides, a sugar component) and monk fruit (a sweetener).Why?I would buy the pure version again at any time (and had planned to do so when I realized it's no longer available).Primal Herb, could you please bring the pure gynnostemma version back?
