This opened up my world. I usually go with just a soap bar. Tried this liquid soap and loved it. Other liquids felt lien they left a film on me but this one feels great and doesn’t dry out my skin. More importantly I don’t smell like a cucumber, honey or any other womanly scent. It’s a neutral nice smell.

Not only does this make the DH smell like a man of Old Spice Guy epicness, it completely gets rid of the coal-tar/medicinal smell of his medicated shampoo. That is a huge plus, because neither of us particularly like that smell. So now, after he washes his hair with the medicated stuff, he gives it a quick once-over with this and ta-dah, no more medicinal coal-tar smell!As other reviewers have pointed out, this doesn't produce a great deal of lather, but then neither do the women's shower gels and both seem to leave a nice, clean feel without the greasiness of a moisturizing product or the stripped astringency of harsher soaps.Overall, great product with a wonderful scent that actually sticks around once he's out of the shower. (It's really nice to continue to catch a bit of the scent in his hair throughout the day.) Total keeper.UPDATE: Ordered more of this, and another "pepper" scent from another brand. Love how long the scent lasts in hair. Doesn't lather like crazy and isn't going to do much if you (or your guy) have been working all day and are really grimy, but as a quick second wash for the scent, it's brilliant.

European scent ; great value

This is a great product. It smells masculine leather and woods, which as a guy, I like. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moist, not dried out. This is only an 8.4 oz bottle so it is small. You don’t get much product for the price. I do wish it lathered better.

Discovered it in the movie American Psycho. Bought it and am blown away at the incredible fragrance and quality of this product. L'Occitane.... Impressed (On my 2nd bottle). Photo clip from actual movie. Hope they leave it up.**Now on 6th bottle. There's no going back. Now I will try the others

'Made in France'. Sounds nice? Product is 'as advertised' with good lather and scent and sells for what I consider a hefty price for an 8.4oz bottle. If you do not care how much you spend on body wash and equate price to 'quality', buy. However you may want to check out 'CREMO' brand at $18.00 for a 2-pack, 16oz each! Great lather, great scent and advertised as 'Made in USA'. The scent 'Blue Cheddar and Cypress' is fairly close in fragrance: 'light' and pleasing. I prefer the #8 'Bourbon & Oak'. Your money, your choice!
