Here's what to expect
Season 2 covers Light novels 4-6.The Lizard Man arc received a mixed reception from a lot of fans back when the show first aired because it didn't have much in the way of Ainz & his guardians but instead focused on several tribes who were threatened with doom from Ainz & Co. I personally didn't mind it because it really, these Lizard Men people are true warriors, even in the face of overwhelming power.The final eight episodes in the volume cover the "The Men in the Kingdom Arc"(LN Vols 5-6). I thought the coverage of Sebas & Momon cough Ainz(Lol) was the highlight of the arc. And naturally Demiurge and many other guardians get their fair share of screentime too.As you can tell the anime takes three novels per adaptation and Season 3 when released will cover novels 7-9. As for whats next for the series, its hard to say because the anime is only a few light novels away from catching up and they may just want to wait a little while longer before announcing a Season 4.
