It's Paw-fect!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My pup approves!I REALLY like this leash. I think the length is great, you can always wrap it around your hands a few times to shorten it if you wanted. The material is good quality (real leather). The handle is sturdy and durable, yet, soft to hold. It never hurt or agitated my hands even when my dog pulled on the leash. I think leather looks simple and classy. Plus, the logo on the leash is super cute.It comes with a bag to keep the leash in which is nice since you should store it in a dry area and out of direct light since it is leather. There is instructions about where to store it and how to clean the leash. In addition, there is an e-book that gives you tips about caring for a dog which I thought was adorable.I have only used it a couple of times but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it!

BEAUTIFUL HIGH QUALITY LEASHES.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I ordered 2 gorgeous leather handmade collars for my girls, from a vendor on Etsy and this leash was recommended. I looked at other options everywhere but Iam very happy I went with these. The leashes are beautiful and very high quality. It was very difficult to impossible to find another brand leash this good and at this price. The leather is thick, smooth and greased on one side(like expensive quality boots are sometimes greased?) but sueded on the other. It is soft, comfortable & flexible in your hand. So you can easily lock the handle on your thumb and wrap it around your hand a few times. To those of you with large strong dogs (I have 75-80 lb catahoula leopard dogs), you will appreciate this leash. I have them a few months & they have not stretched. The stainless steel hardware rings & clips are smooth and heavy duty. There is thick stitching to reinforce and finish where the rivets are. No loose ends & no unravelling anywhere. ...One thing tho. I stand 5ft.4inches tall and this 6 foot leash is long for me because I have my dogs on martingale collars and they need to walk next to me. so I have a lot of length which I take up by holding the leashes wrapped in one hand and gripped in the other. If youre tall or your dogs are accustomed to having a long leash then these are perfect for you. 3-4 ft would have been better for us. But Ill keep them because they are such beautiful quality. I may have them cut by a local shoe cobbler to make 2 more leashes.(credit to Studio1070 on Etsy, for the amazing handcrafted collars & recommending the leashes.)

Great quality leash!!
This leash is made out of nice soft leather and when my pup bolts it doesn't cause a burn on my palm due to friction, like the nylon leashes do. The metal bolt snap is of good quality.Nice color - matches my pup's permanent coat color of red wheaten. Will buy again to make sure I have one for each car and I can walk my dog once I'm at the park. Yes, I did go to the park with my dog only to realize that i didn't have a leash with me.Also, it makes a great gift for your friends with dogs this holiday season. (Hint hint)

Safety warning!!! Leaves gross chemical residue on hands that does not wash off!!!!
Even with repeated washes, my hands smell like wd40 all day after walking my dog in the morning. Even in the times of Covid with constant hand washing, it is impossible to get the chemical residue off my hands and they stink all day. DO NOT BUY for your own SAFETY. Buy American

Chewed through quickly
I would buy this again in a different situation. We just got a new 3 year old competition dog who had lived at the breeder's kennel from his birth. We took him to our home in the suburbs which is totally foreign to him. I think he has been anxious since this is all unfamiliar to him. Unfortunately, he chewed through the leash very quickly - my husband put it on him - turned to get his phone - turned back to the dog and the leash was apart. I have never had this kind of thing happen and the breeder (personal friend, breeds fabulous dogs) was shocked - she had never seen this kind of behavior from him. He chewed through 2 more, now has a chain leash until he settles down.

Nice quality
This is a very nice leash. I recently acquired a couple pups and I had a leather leash from my last dog so I was on the hunt for one for the other puppy. I looked in all my local pet stores for a nice leather leash and couldn’t find one that I thought was worth buying. Most places have the nylon ones or if they did have any leather ones they were very thin and short with cheap clasps. So to Amazon I went. I was kind of hesitant because I like to hold things like this in my hand before buying but my worries were somewhat alleviated by Amazon’s return policy so I went for it. I was not disappointed in this leash. I bought the 6’ x ¾” in brown. It’s fabulous. Nice, soft and supple yet strong and very well sewn. The clasp is heavy duty which is what I really need since my 7 month old pups are already over 75 lbs.! I liked it so much better than my old one I went ahead and ordered another one in black. Not that the old one wasn’t a nice one but it was a different class, not as long, thick or soft. The price of $26 (down from $31) also gave me pause at first and I probably would not have bought them at the $31 price. I was already considering going to a local tack shop and having one built or a set of reins modified and I would have gone that route instead of paying $31 but I decided at $26 it would probably cost me nearly the same, give or take a couple dollars, by the time I had it modified to work as a leash. My pups are still learning to walk with leashes so there is some moderate pulling and tugging going on and so far this leash has held firm. The little doggie bag container that comes with each leash is cute but not necessary in my opinion, and if it affects the price at all I would rather have a better price than that little “bonus”.I'm going with a 4 star rating because I think the price is still a bit steep and I wish it were American made. (Maybe the cost of shipping from China is why the price is so high?)

Great leather dog leash
I LOVE this leash. It is made out of strong leather but it is very soft and feels very comfortable when being held. My wife has sensitive hands and she said she likes the feel of it.The length is perfect for our golden retriever and the clasp is not too big or heavy.

Long enough and strong enough
I have a large, strong, willful Dalmatian who tests this leash all the time. He's 77lbs and it is strong enough at the 3/4 " thickness. I would go to a 1" for an extra large dog.I also like the construction of this one and the fact that it isn't just stitched but also riveted. They have used dubbin to feed the leather as well, which I appreciate. The only slight irritation was the length of time to deliver it but I think Covid has played havoc with deliveries.

Nice leash
I have no problems with this leash. It does have a bit of a stench to it from the protective oils but it's fading with use. I live on a farm...I've smelled worse.

Super Good Leash
This is a very well sewn leash with rivets as well. The leather is soft enough that’s it comfortable in the hand. I’ve used it for my 95lb. German Shepherd for a month now and has held up just fine. Not sure why there are stars for stretch because it doesn’t stretch nor do I want it to stretch. Well worth the money.

Seems well-made
Bought this because my dog has a leather collar so I thought a leather leash would be a good match. Seems like it's good quality; can't wait to use it. I don't walk my big guy very much in the winter.

Game changer
Feels very comfortable to hold, and its a good strong materials. If you ever worked with a strong pulling dog, the nylon material can be quite rough on the hand. This is soft and gives you full control.
