It had several adorable characters to choose from and the instructions did seem age appropriate for probably ages 6-10.It was definitely cool to find, on Kindle Unlimited!My only issue is that it seemed short. If I had ordered the paperback edition, I would probably have been a tad displeased. That’s because I’m always in search of good deals. Without having much extra money these days, stuff like this matters more to me than most. I would assume, anyway.My 5 y/o loved the choices! And was excited to try it out! He just doesn’t really have the cognitive ability to mimic proportions and whatnot.Anyway, very nice to be able to access her books on Kindle! Will definitely check out more! And this would make a great birthday present for a child, with a pack of colored pencils and maybe 2 of these books!I think her style and subject matter would definitely appeal to most children!

Purchased this book for my daughter and I. I thought it would be a great entry level book on learning how to draw, and in that area it is wonderful. Even though there aren't that many characters to draw it still is a great little learning tool, and my daughter and I had fun trying each picture. I have found that I draw better freehand by looking at the completed character than I do step by step. I say this because in a step by step approach I tend to try to emulate too closely what the actual (good) artist draws, and just end up burning through my eraser. However, my daughter is just now learning to draw her numbers, and seeing that she can use simple numbers and shapes to create cute "Kawaii" characters makes her want to practice even more no matter how rudimentary her drawings are at this point. All in all I really like this book, and only wish it contained more characters for the dollar. Also, to help in this area the author's website (i believe) drawinghowtodraw.com is great for refernce and ideas. Hope this helps.

love love love.. so cute.. love to just sit and draw these little things the more you draw the more interesting and different the designs become.. but i should warn it does frustrate some who do not like to draw or don't normally draw because they think it so easy and when they attempt it doesn't quite come out like they think it is going to.. i love them.. i think its fun and i love to draw..

I got this for my 15 years old daughter. She doesn't have a lot of confidence when it comes to drawing so this book was great for her. Even if you are a little bit off on the directions they still turn out completely cute. And the steps are simple enough that she can remember them without the book. I will be looking to pick up the rest of the set for her.

The doodles in this book use letters and numbers pulling together cute Kawaii style animals that are perfect for learning adults AND children. Very simple.

I bought this “How to..” book for my niece for her birthday. Super cute, super easy, and super fun. Great How To book for kids.

my 10 year old daughter loves it - she has the first Kawaii book and when I told her there was a 2nd one - she begged me to get it. She likes it even more than the first one. Great buy.

There are some cute characters to use as inspiration, but the whole obsession with basing the strokes on letters and numbers seems silly and not really helpful.

Man braucht keine Englischkenntnisse, durch die Strich für Strich Anleitung klappt das auch so. Niedliche Motive und meine Tochter hat sehr viel Spass daran
