Amazing
This watch is beautiful. Is not heavy, feels light and the rubber strap are really comfortable. The glass is great quality I scratched it by accident with my desk, and when I checked the glass it was still like new. Is my daily and the time is right on the money. Amazing watch!

Starter watch for the budget minded
If you've done some research into the Kamasu you probably have already heard it is a highly recommended dive-certified watch for those looking for lower-priced automatic divers. For the specs, I think this might be the best bang for buck. You get a sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, and an automatic hacking movement with an advertised 40-hour power reserve. Mine's was barely $160 when I purchased it which is a steal.I've been in the watch hobby for a very short amount of time. This was my first dive watch and my only regret is that I probably bought it too hastily as my tastes have already changed and this PVD version of the Kamasu doesn't get much time on my wrists as my other watches. I will say the rubber strap that comes on the PVD model is one of the softest and most comfortable rubber straps I've owned even when compared to rubber straps that were included with much pricier watches.Obviously, style is subjective so whether you like the look of the watch will probably be a big determining factor of whether the Kamasu is right for you. I will say most dive watches run too big especially if you have smaller wrists. This one wears smaller than the 42 diameter would suggests with shorter lugs that curve downward. It's a very good size in my opinion. My only true criticisms is that the crown can be pretty hard to grasp and the bezel quality is rather average which is expected at this price.PS - strap width is 22 mm which is slightly less common than 20 mm but you should have no trouble looking for straps on Amazon.

All good!
Value for money, great! Solid build quality. Strap is a 👍🏽. I really don't have any complaints. I put a leather strap on it, fantástico 22mm. I have no complaints at this time.

Biggest draw back is the lume lasts less than a minute
The lume is atrocious. Charge it however long you want, the glow in the dark hands & numbers disappear in under a minute. Also, since it is an automatic watch, you will need to buy an A/C powered winding box if you do not wear it nearly every day. The rubber band wasn’t my thing for this good looking watch, so I swapped it with a black & gold metal band. It now looks great, but I have more useful watches. Glad I did not pay any more for the classic automatic watch experience.

Saludos.

Orient Kamasu Maku III - Great for Every Day - A Superb Automatic Diver
I purchased this watch as I wanted an every-day diver and like the idea of an automatic watch - being able to wind it by wearing or by hand if needed (no battery needed). Having looked at lots of reviews online, the Orient Kamasu Maku III diver seemed a great bet.First up, I absolutely love the colour of this watch. It is great to see a manufacturer doing an off-silver case which goes better with the black and gold, really making it pop. It also looks less 'blingy' on, and more stylish in my opinion. The bezel is solid and rotating is nice and firm with a satisfying click as you rotate. The lumo on the hands and number sections is excellent and there is also a nice addition of lumo on the dot above the zero point on the bezel. That is the key thing with this watch really - the detail. It is beautifully made and quite heavy to hold. Quality construction and sapphire glass to prevent scratches! The only issue I would point out it that the strap is made from soft touch rubber. Whilst I prefer this as a very comfortable strap, the soft surface really attracts dust and fibres from clothing. Easy to wipe off, but it only occurs due to the material used on the strap. Some have had issues with strap length, but I have a 7.5 inch wrist and it fits me perfectly.I bought this on offer and am extremely happy with it - so much so that I would buy it for a higher price. as it is well worth it.

Great value!
Quality watch and great value for the money. The gold tone was not too bright and everything was aligned properly. The included strap is sized for diving and will be too long for most users so have a replacement strap or bracelet at hand, it's a shame since the included one seems to be of good quality.Don't be deterred by the listed size of 42mm (41,8mm according to Orient). The relatively short lug-to-lug of 46mm combined with a dial that is about 30mm excluding the bezel makes this watch wear a lot smaller than it sounds like. A 40mm Seiko Presage for instance seems a lot larger in comparison. I have a small wrist of 16,5cm/6,5" and can wear the watch without any problems (i.e. no lug-overhang).Overall I am very happy with this watch and would recommend it.
