One major concern of mine has regarding how this filter will work with dust, as some reviews say it does nothing. I'm pleased to say that it does collect dust, not sure how much it stops vs. passes through, but you can tell after about 2 weeks, the filter is a darker gray color compared to a new filter due to the dust it collected.I use it as a pre-filter so this is perfect for me. Having 2 filters that's a high MERV rating, etc. would hurt the motor due to all the flow restriction. So this high flow (low resistance) is perfect for my case. Your mileage may vary if you only use this for your furnace. But for dust, it seems to work great.Would recommend

This is a very basic filter. But it suits my needs. I mainly use them to cover the return holes, while I have another layer of filter in the system.I received a box of 12 filters, as expected. I saw other reviews mentioning only receiving 1 filter. My recommendation is to choose a reputable 3rd party seller when "sell by Amazon" is not an option, and contact the seller to confirm the item information.

It was nice to purchase an annual supply at such a reasonable price. Most stores in my area are only carrying pleated filters (some w/the same Merv rating, but insanely more expensive) that I understand are not great for HVAC systems anyway. The few like these I could still find were only in one random odd size, so I went to Amazon and I am glad I did. Now a quick count will also assure I have/haven't completed the monthly filter change in case I can't recall.

I have three smaller furnace vents in my home and the size I have isn't easy to find (14 x 14 x1) but now I've found them and can buy in quantity! This seller is great, ships fast and the filters are heavy-duty and fit perfectly. They carry a range of different sizes and have the one you need. Highly recommended!

I have an unusual size filter so this is a convenient way to get them. Price is decent and the filters work.

I use these MERV 3 filters in the return grills of our HVAC unit to eliminate 90% of the dust giving my MERV 13 filters in the AC/furnace air handler longer life and greater efficiency. The bix box stores no longer carry these but Amazon to the rescue!

Perfect fit for my ac/heat vents, easy to change , good value for the price and quantity.

This is a good product at a good bulk price. I have a difficult filter size to find and local stores didnt have anything close to the correct size and these, although not a perfect fit, do serve the purpose.Shipping was reasonable-and fast . . . so I am set for furnace filters for at least one heating season-and likely more!
