Easy installation
This rack was very well packaged as to not scratch it during shipment. It was easy to install onto my four wheeler. The quality is spot on, adds extra room for storage.

Great product for the money
The frame is very sturdy. Assembly was easy.Instalation was not so easy. But I did retro fit this to a 97 polaris xplorer 300. I did get it on.The basket needs a bit more reinforcement as the ESM does stretch and sag on the floor of the basket. All around super value and I'm psyched i bought it.

Sturdy; flexible mounting options; should last a long time
My initial impression of the Universal Rear Drop Basket from Titan is that this thing is quite sturdy. All of the welds seem very solid, if maybe a bit messy. There's no "give" anywhere, and no place where it seems like they skimped on putting it together well.I don't have any experience with other ATV baskets, but it seems very similar to products such as Raider ATV-21 ATV Rear Drop Basket and Kolpin Convertible Rear Drop Rack but at a much lower cost (at time of this writing, about $50 cheaper). It is quite heavy.. it's listed as 42 pounds, which seems about right. Since most of that weight is in the basket, which hangs off the rear of your ATV, that means it needs to be mounted *very* securely to your rear rack. It will also add some weight to the rear of your vehicle, which may affect handling. Please note that I have not yet actually mounted this unit to my ATV; I'll update the review when I have. I did do a quick "dry run" to make sure it would fit. The mounting hardware seems quite flexible, in that they include both "mounting brackets" and "mounting plates". The former have threaded holes that are designed to fit the bolts directly, while the latter have multiple holes at various distances to allow for more options in mounting. It looks like, based on the shape of my ATV bar, I'll end up using a couple of each, probably combined with some zip ties to prevent it from moving around (these obviously shouldn't be used to actually support any weight).I'm knocking off a star because my particular unit arrived damaged. It looked like it had been previously tried out by someone and sent back, but was packaged carelessly, which resulted in deep scratches in a couple places on the basket. There is also a significant amount of dust on the unit, and it sounds like there's some dirt/dust moving around on the inside, along with other minor scratches in other places. When I contacted Titan, they quickly responded and offered to either give me a partial refund, or exchange the unit. I opted for the former, since the scratches can probably be covered up with some black spray paint; I didn't really relish the idea of shipping this heavy thing back to them; and I'm probably going to bang it around during daily usage anyway. I would have preferred to have a brand-new unit at the price I paid, but I commend them for quickly taking an effort to make it right. All in all though, this unit is exactly as described and quite a value for the money based on similar, higher-priced items. I don't feel like I'll need a separate trip to the hardware store to mount it securely but I'll update if that's the case.

It works great. I wish I had it all season
I've only used this rack once on my Honda Foreman 500 because I didn't break down and buy it until the end of the hunting season. It works great. I wish I had it all season. It beats strapping everything down every trip. The installation instructions could be way easier to decipher, but installation was simple once I threw the directions in the fire. The basket has no squeaks, fits snug and is rugged. The only issue with the basket is the amount of mud that gets on your gear inside the basket in muddy conditions. I simply cut an old rubber door mat and put it in the bottom of the basket to help keep my backpack and ice chest cleaner. I would buy this again. And put it on the bike in daylight.

I saw that the reviews were pretty decent on it
I bought this rack because of the price. I was a little skeptical, but I took a chance. I saw that the reviews were pretty decent on it, so I figured I would try it out.I have a 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570sp. It has the composite rack on the back. I don't like the looks of the metal racks that are sold by Polaris, and have found the composite rack to be very sturdy, and with the 6 metal tubes incorporated into the rack, it is very versatile. At first, I didn't see a way to mount this drop basket to the composite rack. There were plenty of parts and pieces that came with the basket... but none that seemed to fit. So, I wound up using nickle coated U bolts that I purchased from a local hardware store, and clamped the basket to the rack via the tubes. I also used a large piece of metal bracketing that came with the basket to reinforce it.With it in place, I can say that I am very happy with the basket. It seems to be very sturdy, and can hold a lot. Time will tell how it stands up, though. I will update this review if need be.

Great product
Sturdy, well built basket on a budget. Not crazy expensive like a dealership product, but just as good in my opinion. Mounting was not throw and go. Had to drill some extra holes both in the basket itself and my 4 wheelers rack. I have A 2020 Honda rancher with the new Honda pro connect racks. The dealership tried to sell me the Honda pro connect baskets for 3x the price of this they told me the universal products would not work. They were right but with a good sharp drill bit i made It work no problem. Super happy with the results. Unfortunately mud will fly up from the tires through the bottom and side of the basket mesh and cover whatever is inside of the basket. I fabbed Some solid pieces of Tin to prevent the mud from coming in.

Looks used out of box
Paint is absolutely screwed all the way around. The zip ties were a suggestion due to them not being tightened down in any way shape or form,so the pieces bounced around and marred up the already terrible paint job. The sloted guide for the assembly is way off to the point I had to stand on it to get it to wedge itself in. It still gets 3 stars only because it does feel pretty solid. Welding seems sloppy but decent penetration for strength. Happy overall but wouldn't recommend anyone chance this one.
