These shoes are not good for actually submerging your feet in water
These shoes are not good for actually submerging your feet in water. They hold onto all of the water so that you feel like you're walking around with water buckets on your feet. I can see them being ok if you are hiking somewhere wet/muddy but they are so open on the top that your feet would get all wet and muddy. I wore these when trying to walk in the ocean where it was rocky but they were terrible because of how much water they held onto. Then I wore them white water rafting and we fell in the water and the shoes slipped off because they were so heavy and full of water. I bought some cheap water shoes in Panama (where we were traveling) for $10 and they were way better than these. I recommend looking for water shoes that have small holes all over to allow the water to seep in and out.

I bought these to walk up Dunn River Falls in Jamaica and do the White River Tubing while I was on a western caribbean cruise. They fit very securely. I have wide feet and they fit fine. There is next to no chance these are going to slip off your feet and they offer good grip. The worst thing about them is they are "single serving" water shoes. After wearing these on the beach and in the river, they were almost completely destroyed. The ribbing on the bottom wore off, the soles on the inside move out of place and sand sticks to the glue that was supposed to hold them. I'm so torn because most of the time I get blisters from new shoes, but these didn't even so much as hurt any part of my foot.Pros: Excellent water shoesCons: Lasted only a week

Look no further: these are your comfortable and flattering new water shoes.
I'm the "Princess and the Pea" of shoes. Thousands of dollars I've wasted on footwear that gave me blisters, irritation, and pain. Even old, broken-in shoes which once felt fine will turn on me. When I ordered these water shoes my expectations were low. Was I surprised! These are more comfortable than almost any shoe of any style that I've owned. I hiked 4 miles of difficult mountain terrain and climbed around on very wet, slippery rocks beneath a waterfall. Not a single hotspot. I'm truly amazed and am buying a pair in all the colors they make. The soles are made to be sensitive enough to allow you to feel the substrate below your feet yet none of the pebbles or rocks I stepped on hurt one bit. Most water shoes are ugly and unflattering; these look good enough to wear as daily shoes. I've just returned from vacation and have not yet tested them on the streets of the Concrete Jungle but I imagine they'll hold up well here in the city, too. I wear size 7, 7.5, or 8, depending upon maker and model. Size 7 was perfect.

Cute and comfortable
I usually wear a size 10, but purchased a size 9 because of the reviews saying the shoe ran a little big and I'm glad I paid attention to the recommendations because a size 9 fit perfect -- a size 10 would have been slipping off when the shoes get wet.

I am in the pool at least 2 hours 5 times a week and this is a great shoe!
I purchased these to wear to water aerobics and water boot camp. I am in the pool at least 2 hours 5 times a week and this is a great shoe. Our pool has a "lazy river" that most of the water aerobics are taught and it gets a little slippery in spots if you are bare foot.A plus to these shoes are they are cute as well as comfortable! My foot borders on the wider side, and I have problems with planter fasciitis, therefore, I always purchase shoes that offer good support.

Last a lot longer than many styles
This is my second pair of this style shoe. I like the fact that there are no Ties or Velcro to fail The last pair lasted over 2 years and since I go to the Gym several times a week this is great. The old pair like this failed on lava rocks at the beach on the bottom of the foot. All other types of water shoes I have bought lasted under 1 year and failed with the straps and ties that hold them on your feet before the bottom could get a hole in them from using so much.

Love the Cudas Shasta Water Shoe
Love the Cudas Shasta Water Shoe, they are very comfortable with great grip, not to mention cute too. I use my water shoes while at the gym during my aqua aerobics class, in and around the pool, shower and locker room area. They provide great grip and stability for the bottom of the pool and do not feel like they are falling off my feet or flopping around while under the water. I would order them again and would highly recommend them to my other aqua class mates. The first pair I ordered the same size as my shoe size and they were too large. I returned them the same day and Amazon did a wonderful job refunding my account as soon as they return box was scanned! I ordered the same shoe, one size smaller and they fit perfectly. My advise while ordering would be to order one size down from your regular sneaker size.

Size for smaller foot
These seem to run slightly large. Have one foot size 9 and the other foot size 10. Usually order for the larger foot. In this case, a size 9 would have fit better. This style is also not as deep at the heel. While I don't walk out of them, my heel does slip. Seems to have a sturdy sole, so walking outside in the rain isn't a problem. Straps over the top of the foot hold me foot well, and don't cut.

Great for kayaking
Wow. I'm so surprised by how great these shoes are. I didn't want to drop alot of money on pair of water shoes for the kayak. After checking out a few places and coming home empty handed, I decided to see what's on Amazon.I ordered these because they are cheap and look decent. I didn't expect to get an amazing, comfortable, high-quality product. These shoes are all the above and more.No pressure points. No rubbing. Just a little hot but that's to be expected with all the rubber material. The grip is excellent. It's even stylish enough to wear as regular shoes.I'm really looking forward to using these while kayaking. I'll also use them to hike through canyons and shallow rivers in Utah. They've even got a bit of protection against rocks and pebbles for the toes. What more can I ask from a pair of 30-dollar water shoes?I imagine it would be perfect for other watersports too. I recommend buying your true size. Fits nicely not too tight, the cross hatch top helps prevent them from slipping off during a wave.

Overall I'm happy; I just wish I bought a larger size ...
I purchased one size larger due to reviews about it fitting small, but still ended up using them only once in a 2 week vacation, because they were so tight. Other than that, they performed adequately- the soles are a bit soft, which is a dual-edged sword: You can feel the cracks and crevices of the rocks, so you don't roll your ankle, and they protect your feet well, but the thin-ness allows pointy rocks to jab you if you're not careful. The material is very breathable and would dry within minutes in the sun, with the inserts out; the toe guard isn't clunky and does protect well; and the pull tab at the heels was helpful in pulling them on (again, they fit a bit tight). Overall I'm happy; I just wish I bought a larger size again.

Don't order a size down as suggested by other reviewers. My teenager wears a size 9 in casual shoes and so based on the other review, i ordered these water shoes at size 8 but they are a good 2 inches shorter (sole to sole) compared to her size 9 runners! They are too small! I wear a size 7.5 casual shoes myself so i put my foot into the size 8water shoes and they were just a little loose meaning the size 8 fits true to size.

Fit large, solid but heavy.
In reading the reviews that said these fit small, with a few that read large, I decided to go true to size. These fit Large!! Given the varying reviews on fit, I’m left to conclude there may be an inconsistency on the manufacturing end. Fit is a crap shoot. Furthermore, although they have a nice solid bottom, they are quite heavy, so if weight/travel is a consideration, I wouldn’t suggest these.

Comfortable and cute
Love these! Purchased them for a trip down south and was asked a few times where I had got them from. I didn’t want dorky, bulky water shoes knowing I’d be wearing them around the resort. They were cute and comfortable!
