Great hood deflector with lights changes the look of the truck. Adhesive still holding strong 2 years later, super easy to wire to the vehicle.

This product it is NOT as advertised and NOT fitting correctly👎
This product it is NOT as advertised and NOT fitting correctly👎. I was hesitant to buy it in the first place and ordered one in the end, but AS MANY buyers stated her it is NOT a correct fit due to its designed style/model that have not only a flimsy screws that would not fit but also not strong enough to hold in place while some important ones are plastic, and these 2 metal clips that comes in this package it is not going to do that job either since there is a hard glue or perhaps some hard rubber that seal the hood connecting in place and that portion under the front hood makes it almost impossible to attached these clips since these are somehow short and not holding most likely I would assume, where the plastic bug reflector supposedly hold. The other 4 extended holes already drilled into the big reflector are so far away that you would need to improvise something, perhaps an extended metal so that you can attached the bug reflector to the hood somehow and hold it in place at some shape or form, otherwise the exterior or extremities of the 2 hold metal clips will NOT do the job most definitely and the whole plastic bud reflector could and would I would assume for sure flip or touch your hood making scratches and/or scuffs all over that covered portion of your hood while you drive on a highway, guaranteed since the whole thing it is not secured correctly in place. I am thinking of returning immediately, since it for NOT appear to be reliable, and then even similar like some of the photos attached by other buyers while these ones look a little different. Not sure if the securing hole or system that comes with such models are totally different while there is no photos showing any of that, but I would assume were a little better since some of these people appears to install these big reflectors in place and are happy with the whole thing. Not the case in my situation like numerous negative reviews posted for this flimsy unreliable designed that I got and which is a different shape vs the other photos attached, regrettably. You definitely need to improvises something and make it work, but that will be an extra costa me headache since that will not only look ugly and a mess job, but also hard to get it done nicely and neatly in the end. Also NOT sure if you can close the hood nicely after that since you add things that should NOT be there and perhaps touch the plastic interior or the top engine bay perhaps making it harder to close the hood I would assume too, let alone the exterior appeared of a raised hood in case you will increase the tolerance of making it work while closing the hood and the the hood would look off as being closed in place. Not happy about any of these potential issues that should have been thought carefully prior to design an item that is not correctly labeled as fit, not to mention about some extra hardwares that could be necessary since the whole dam thing it is not fitting the holes of the hood or even being close to the right place… I would NOT recommend this product unless you want o desperately making it work and look awful in the end.👎

QR code didn't work. Not as easy to install as one would assume.
QR code for install did nothing. Look up this video "2019-2021 Silverado 1500 weathertech stone and bug deflector install" on YouTube. The guy in the video doesn't do a great job explaining or showing but here are some tips. 1) He says remove the second and fourth fastener. It will definitely benefit you to remove the third fastener on each side as well. 2) Tape the deflector to the hood if you are alone. 3) The push pins that come with the deflector are not the best quality and when you try to push them into the hole in the hood, one side of the prongs will likely bend out causing it to not go in properly. I took a tiny strip of masking tape and wrapped it around the prongs and that made the entire process 10 times easier. 4) i didnt try this but if you install the clips on the very end of the deflector first after linning it up on the hood, it will most likely hold the whole thing in place. Hope this helps.

Perfect fit
I chose this hood deflector because I didn’t want another rock dent/chip on my hood, plus it looks nice.Perfect fit for the 2021 Silverado. There are some videos out there to watch from actual people who have this setup,While installing the led lights, I did like most of the videos and re-routed the wire to the passenger side, instead of the drivers side, by drilling a small hole on the passenger side of the protector, instead of using the driver side hole that is provided from the factory. The battery and fuse box on the 2021 Silverado is on the passenger side. That made a cleaner install though the hood’s cavity. With no excess wire visible on the underside of the hood. Used a stiffer piece of wire to fish it through the holes under the hood.I had to drill a small hole in the fuse box top cover for the connection to the parking light fuse using asmall fuse tap that is also available on Amazon. You will get some hood vibrations above 80 mph but that’s no a game changer for me.

Protector
Exelente compra.
