I like that it does not have places that leaves scrap marks. It smooth on the ends. It extends to reach the hard spots. There's enough to leave in different rooms to have handy. Colorful to make it easy to spot.

These are very sturdy but they are big. I wanted something slimmer that I could easily put in a bag. These would fit in my bag but would take up space, whereas the slimmer ones hardly take up any space.

I first bought some bear-claw type back scratchers because they looked like they were sharper and would be great with which to itch...but...as soon as I used them, I realized that they don't cover much area (points are small and too far apart, for me). Then I bought these...what a difference for me. They cover more area and get the itches better and they seem to be well built. Love the multiple colors and the low price. The seller was also very good and prompt.

Unlike some of these where the head breaks off eventually, these have lasted a long time. I put one in the car and one in each room, one in the office. I gave them as gifts. Sometimes telescoping backscratchers loosen up after a while, and can no longer stay extended, however, these have remained snug.
