Hooray for Birds!

It is a wonderful book full of fun bird rhymes! It will be perfect for reading to a baby for all of the vivid colors and the ease of reading and fun for a toddler when they get to mimic the birds in the book while they are learning to read for themselves!

The book inspired a lot of action as I read the behaviors of birds. They were giddy with delight flapping, waddling and participating in the invitations the book led them to infer. The book was more complex than typical toddler age board books, but a toddler through a pre-kindergarten age child could both get something, each at their own level, out of this book. The pictures inspired my class to write their own bird books and to look around outside for birds that they could draw for their own book.

Daughter like the book, she prefers Peck peck peck but this book is fun too. She pretends to swoop like a startling when we read it.

WE LOVE LUCY COUSINS! This book has us all running around laughing and acting like silly birds. Lots of fun.

Great book for toddlers, so much fun to pretend being all the different birds

Had to write a review to say this book is just wonderful. My son loves birds and he LOVES this book. Every page is bold and beautiful and we love reading it time and time again.

love the illustrations, grandson knows all the birds in here now and does the actions they do. He's learned vocabulary and best of all, he brings it to me more than once a day to read it!
