Bye Bye C-Pap Acne! So Long Noisy C-Pap Leaks!
The Snugz Mask Liners have solved both of the problems that have made me want to ditch my C-Pap: acne and leaks. OK, this review is about to get real. C-Paps are not the sexiest thing in the world, but when you need one, you need one.Once I started using a C-Pap, I quickly developed a ring of acne where the mask touched my skin. I cleaned my mask and skin every day, but still broke out. I was having sleep sweat and saliva getting trapped under the mask. My Doc prescribed a topical medication for my acne. The medication also became trapped by my mask caused my skin to burn. I couldn’t win.The other problem I had was noisy leaks. If your not familiar with this problem, it is when a puff of air from the C-Pap, causes a vibration between your face and the mask. This makes a sound my partner describes as “face farts.” (Sexy, I know. 🙄).I first tried to solve the problems on my own. I cutting a tube sock as a liner. It worked, but I worried about breathing in lint from an unfinished edge. I also tried paper liners, but they did not have the absorption and wicking that I needed.Snugz to the rescue!Snugz are soft and wick away the moisture from night sweats and drooling. (Admit it. We all do it.). After using Snugz, my skin quickly cleared up, and I no longer need topical medication. I like that the package comes with two liners, so you can use one, while washing the other.Snugz also fixed my “Face Farts”! Snugz fills in those nooks and crannies where your mask doesn’t sit directly on your skin. Snugz allow air to flow in and out of those areas without causing vibrations. Goodbye Face Farts!I love that Snugz are machine washable, and quite durable. The material does not pill up after washing, so I don’t worry about breathing in fabric fibers. I like to wash my Snugz as soon as thy arrive, to soften them up just a little. If I were to say anything critical about Snugz, it would be that they seem a little overpriced. Their durability helps me to justify the higher cost Because they do work so well for me, and have helped clear my skin, I am willing to pay just a little more. . I would, however, like to see them offered at a lower cost. Thanks Snugz, for helping to clear up my skin and giving my partner a good nights sleep! 😴

The sleeve contracts the edges of the mask causing constant leakage.
I’m returning this product. It does not help prevent mask leaks. It promotes leaks. The elasticized fabric fits so tightly, it contracts the edges of the mask making it very ill-fitting and uncomfortable. Because it causes a poor fit the leakage is nearly constant.$14.00 per sleeve it is very expensive.

Doesn't fit larger full face mask
Ok so to explain my rating of only 3 stars. I think charging 30 dollars for 2 of these is completely overcharging by a huge amount. They also don't fit the larger mask well at all. It was very hard to get it on and then it made the opening shrink a half inch all around on the inside because of stretching.. It made wearing the mask uncomfortable and hard to breathe. If you aren't claustrophobic this might work for you but I am and it didn't.On the plus side, it did stop the vibrating completely. It made the mask much more comfortable to wear and almost eliminates the air leaks that were making it almost impossible for me to wear the mask no matter how much I tightened the head gear. As soon as the pressure went up the vibrating would start again and wake me right up. I tried it 2 nights but couldn't handle the narrowing of the interior opening. It kept sending me into panic mode. So the third night I took a tube sock, I cut it straight across 1 1/2" from the top, slipped it over the mask and it worked perfectly for a fraction of the cost. I didn't even bother to hem it yet. All this is made from is the same material as a soft ankle sock. It's like a 1 1/4" wrist band, easily made at home even if you have no sewing skills at all. Nothing to do but cut slices across a tube sock. I never like giving a negative review, I much prefer to give a positive review of products. However I just can't do so with this. It would work great if you have a smaller full face mask. Just way too expensive for what you get and although they advertise that it fits the larger masks it doesn't.If you try the tube sock idea, try to find those that aren't ridged at the top. It will give you more slices.

Great to combat contact dermatitis.
I am incredibly pleased with this product. I had been using my CPAP with a nasal mask for over a year when all of a sudden I developed contact dermatitis from the mask. Never had a problem, and then all of a sudden my skin became inflamed at any part the silicone part of the mask touched - inflamed in a very noticeable and ugly way. I tried working with the company that provides the mask. Anyone who has worked with the customer service of these companies probably knows what a difficult task that was. I tried switching masks to a full face mask and nasal pillows with the same result: unsightly inflammation and red marks wherever the mask touched. I tried various third party covers but nothing stayed on until I found Snugz Nasal Mask Liners. I have to say - I was at the end of my rope when I found this product. This product accomplished what I needed. It is low maintenance: all you have to do is pull the liner over the mask and fold it inward as per the directions. It worked and I no longer have inflamed skin and I'm back to sleeping great. I still can't understand how I developed this allergy after a year plus of using the masks without issue, but that's not important for this review. Just one piece of advice which worked for me: I got a larger size mask to use with the liner because I felt that previous liners (from other companies) contributed to blocking the airflow. I use the Airfit N20, and I use a large with the liners where I probably would use a medium without the liner. It works fine. My data shows that the seal needs to be adjusted, but the SnugZ product info states that such data should be expected. I don't feel or hear an air leak regardless of the data report. I will note that, more importantly, the data report shows that I consistently am under one event per hour, which I feel is the more important number.
