Excellent replacement for those heavy old units. Much lighter. Fitment was great. Turns engine over with ease- caterpillar c15 acert.

Worked great on Cat 3406
This was much lighter than the starter we took out (42MT). So far impressed with the gear reduction starter, quiet and seems to spin with more torque, faster start. I will see how long it lasts.

Good price. Unit works and fits Detroit Diesel 60s engine. It turns and starts engine better than 42MT. It has over crank protection connector. Delco Remy has a 3 year (unlimited miles) warranty on this starter.
