Very easy to install. With a little modification to the upper bracket I installed one on the passengers side also. One worked ok but for the price why make one do all work. Installed both sides in 45 min.

No more slamming tailgate
Love it.. now I can open my tailgate with one hand and it doesn't come slamming down. Great value. Good upgrade to my '13 Silverado.
