Stiffer suspension
So, yes, they make the suspension alot more stiff. Had these on for more than 1500 miles now and still held up. Actually gave me about 2.7 inches of lift. Truck sits a little squatted now which is fine because rear blocks are easy to do. If you have an independent suspension truck and want lift, go with lift spindles instead. these ruin the ride quality but it works i suppose

Like many others my 2006 Silverado was leaning 3/4" to ...
Like many others my 2006 Silverado was leaning 3/4" to the driver side. It also had 3" of rake from front to back. I purchased both this kit (the 2" kit) and the Daystar 1" kit to try to solve the side to side problem and help the front to back rake. Had my mechanic install the 2" spacer on the driver side and the 1" spacer on the passenger side. He said it was pretty tough squeezing in the 2" spacer in particular. Doing this got me 1 5/8" of lift on the driver side and 1 1/8" of lift out of the passenger side. Your numbers might be a little different if you go with the same spacer on both sides rather than offsetting like I did. In the end, the truck is now 3/8" low on the driver side and I still have 1.5" of rake front to back. The side to side is close enough that it's difficult to notice and the front to rear rake is decreased enough that it isn't near as noticeable. If there is any ride degradation after the install, my butt can't feel it. Overall, I'm satisfied. Hope this helps someone!

Simple and Easy
Simple and Easy to install. Some professional tools required but nothing you can't borrow from Autozone for free!!! Helped me spend less on a slight lift for my son's truck than spending an arm and a leg on a full suspension lift!!!

Makes installing coil springs more difficult(this is not the spacers fault)
Installed this kit on my 1991 Chevy Silverado c1500 about a month ago and I have to say I love it so far. Rides great! I did a complete front end suspension replacement and decided I would level my truck at the same time so after researching a bit, I bought these. The ride quality is great on and off road. One thing to keep in mind is that they will compress your factory coil springs even tighter than they were before you added the 2” spacer. This will make installing them by yourself very difficult but it is do-able. Don’t bother with coil spring compressors. Look up on YouTube how to do it with a crowbar and a floor jack. This technique works best and I was able to install both sides on my own. All in all great product! I am very pleased with my purchase.

Leveled my 97, and allowed for larger tires
Easy enough to install if you have the know how to safely get the springs out. If its your first time with working with coil springs under weight do plently of research, and have a person on standby to call for help.

Not level
It lifted the truck another inch, but it's not level... Next time I'm getting the spindles.

I am very happy with the new look on my truck
Hey everyone I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado and today was the crazy’s day ever. This was the hardest job ever to do. I started at 9:30 and finish at 5:30. I am very happy with the new look on my truck. But I will never do this job again. It was hard!
