Leaked from outer seal on first rain, fogged up. seller not accepting exchange
looked good, needed to buy different bulbs to work with these. They fogged up at the first rain. contacted spyder and they recommended returning the item. unfortunately it took to long and I'm outside the return/exchange window. DONT buy.

Spyder taillights for E38 BMW
Very happy with the product. Respectible product at a good price. For any exterior platic product one of the major challenges of its quality is how it wears over time with exposure to sun and road grime.The lights are bright and framed very nicely. Keep in mind you need to buy a couple of clear bulbs in addition to what comes with the purchase.I recommend both the product and the supplier.

Look and perform much better than OEM tail lights
Bought these to replace the factory original housings on my E38..My bulb socket contacts were burnt causing the light to not function....These are much better looking and have much better bulb holders/contacts..These have separate bulb holders that have wires at the socket unlike OEM that has the contacts on a metal board..Very good design IMHO..1/4 the price of OEM ..

Poor quality
These are great looking tail lights. However I have had issues with them since day 1. Intermittently my "check brake light" or "check tail light" message would come on. Usually I would just tap on lens and they would work fine. Recently I noticed passenger side has moisture in it. These are supposed to be sealed units I thought. I will get new ones but NOT THESE

Supplied as per description, upgraded the look of the car
These are excellent, particularly for the price. You can see the bulbs through the clear lens, but to be honest many recent vehicle releases have similar lenses. They have significantly upgraded the look of my '97 iL.Installation was very simple, and the gaskets were included as well as orange bulbs for the indicators.

LOVE them! I had the check various light issues ...
LOVE them! I had the check various light issues for about 6 months. I was going to do the resistor mod but was too lazy but after awhile the errors just sorted themselves out and haven't reappeared in years.If it wasn't for the sporadic error codes I would have gone 5 stars all day. I wonder if you have to reset the LCM?
