beautiful to look at and hold, gold sided pages shimmer nicely, and the feel of the paper is not so thin yet still delicate. My grandson loves the illustrations made by a famous artist. The genealogy/ancestry was confusing to me at first so be sure to write with pencil to erase any mistakes. I think my daughters will love this bible as I do.... a real keepsake

Beautiful illustrations and simply amazing for the price especially,I really love this bible.This is the first bible I’ve ever bought and I really am pleasantly surprised especially for the cost how wonderful it is.

First off it came a day early. Second I am an antique KJV Bible collector and so far this is absolutely the most beautiful cover out of all my antiques. Touching it was inspiring as you feel the grain and the texture. The cover looks to be very Old English. The inside is gorgeous with the loaded extensive amount of very pristine pictures throughout that tell the immense details of every story. And what i love is that this Bible can be displayed or read!!! The font size is small but readable. But here is another feature that I love!!! The gold gilded pages are the ABSOLUTE INDISPUTABLE NO ARGUMENT BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN HANDS DOWN. The gold inlay of the pages look like a large gold block in your hands. The pages need to be flipped to get it loose but the gilding is spot on!!! The size is medium size to read in bed or at a table. And finally the gold ribbon is very nice and a good satin finish. Barnes and Nobles did an excellent job publishing this Bible. I even compared the scriptures to ensure it is authentic KJV and yes!!! Even the binding is pristine with upper and lower raised hubs and continual design. This Bible gives you the feel of Roman Old English charm with the age look of this Bible. How can a Bible get any more beautiful? I definitely do not regret buying this one! The cover is gorgeous and the illustrations are so detailed and perfect. The Bible is heavy, so you want to be sitting at the table or on the couch reading this one. So lovely, so glad I bought it.

First of all, I didn't t grow up in a family that went to church, prayed or read from the Holy Bible. I had been feeling a pull to get a Holy Bible and connect with God, but I didn't know which bible to get. I decided to go with this one and am glad I did. I didn't realize this when I first purchased it, but this KJV of the Holy bible contains the old testament and the new testament. Not to mention, it is very beautiful and contains pictures. It also has a convenient ribbon book mark making it easy to find where you left off. For me, I learn more and more about my faith, spiritually and God everyday. I recommend getting this Bible if thats what your heart is telling you to do.

The paper is thicker than most Bibles. There are no issues with paper ghosting. You'll most likely not want to hold this Bible while reading though. The images are spectacular. I think this Bible is very worth getting, especially if you have issues with how thin the paper typically is in a Bible.

Such a beautiful bible. Not much of a reviewer. But extremely happy with the purchase. Pages and illustrations as well as the cover make it feel unique and old. Like a tome.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I bought this Bible for display, but it’s so nice! High quality cover and pleasing to look at. I’m a Bible enthusiast and wanted a Bible to display because it is THE HOLY Word of God and should be highly respected rather than leaving around on the floor or touched. Us Christians don’t do that very well with our Bibles. So I bought this one to display (not idolize) and adore. Dont worry, I have like 10 other bibles that I read and study. I’m a Biblical studies major. The main reason I thought of this idea was because of how high of a standard Muslims use to take care of their Quran. They never let it touch the ground. They never write in it. They have to do a ritual and clean their hands to even touch their book. So that got me thinking. Why don’t we do that? Our God’s book should be more respected and held higher than we naturally treat it. It’s a great book. Read it!Finishing this review, definitely a recommended Bible for Bible enthusiasts and readers. Other reviews say it’s great to read and I don’t doubt their review at all!
