Having been frustrated with other versions of zesters I saw this version on a cookery programme and it seemed so easy and effective. My life has been transformed with this beautifully crafted version. I can fully zest a lemon in seconds and it gives a fine grating which is perfect in cakes etc. Washes very easily and as it is extremely sharp it has a protective cover for safe storage.

I bought this product primarily for grating lemon skins. It is easy to use, not requiring a lot of pressure and zests the lemon skin finely. I tried it out the other night on fresh ginger. It made easy work of it All in all a great product which can be hand washed or washed in the dish washer. The plastic cover is a great bonus too That was my original review but unfortunately I have to amend it. After about a year the handle snapped and it's not a clean break. It cannot be repaired. Really disappointed in the longevity of this. It was only used infrequently- I don't have a restaurant. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Very hard to find a grater which grates as finely as this

This is just a wonderful kitchen gadget. I can't think why I never bought one before. Having thoroughly read reviews of various brands of zesters I decided on this one, and am so glad I did. It is extremely sharp and you only need to do one fairly gentle swipe before turning the lemon a little. I got so much zest from one lemon I put half into a tiny pot in the fridge to use the next day. Previously I have used a fine grater, but most of the zest stuck to the grater and I only got a tiny amount to use. This one helped me make a delicious creamed cabbage (Finely shredded sweetheart cabbage, fried in a little butter, then add a little double cream and lemon zest, cook for about 5 minutes and season to taste - all ready in about 10 minutes). Next day made a very quick chicken and rice dish (including half a red onion) and the rest of the lemon zest and a splash of Clearsprings tamari. Yum.

Best zester/cheese grater I have ever used. I used to spend around 10 mins zesting a lemon (dunno if that's a word) but with thus bad boy I'm done in a minute. Really really sharp as effortless to use and clean. The plastic guard is ideal for storage and ensuring the blade does not get damaged. Great for grating Parmesan cheese over a dish or mincing garlic/ginger. Trust me. You will not regret buying this gadget. I cannot recommend this enough.

Great zester and grater. Certainly one of the best I’ve used. Grated so effortlessly. Parmesan cheese or zesting a lemon, it does it well. The cover works as protector for the zester and as a holder for the bits. Found it much more convenient and easier to grate/zest using the cover than over the plate.

I love this zester/grater, so easy to use, don’t why I didn’t invest in one before. Gets all zest off citrus fruits and you can use the guard upside down to catch whatever your zesting or grating. Do be careful of tips of fingers and nails when using for garlic or ginger - common sense really. Mine has been through dishwasher few times now and still in perfect condition

Have wanted one of these graters having seen them used by chefs on tv.!! Easy to hold as it can be used upright resting on a plate for grating chocolate or lemons , oranges etc , or free hand for grating cheese onto pasta . The plastic safety guard covers the entire raised grater also it can be slotted onto the underside and used to catch whatever is being grated so no mess . Easy to clean too just hold under tap and residue washes off. Would suggest leaving to air dry rather than try to dry with a cloth as it’s very sharp. Excellent quality and well made . Would highly recommend this grater .
