Craig Dobbine' "Hymns For Fingerstyle Guitar" is the best music book/cd I have seen. It is challenging, but the rewards of sounding like the cd are great. I chose one piece and practiced for 1 month....and I am only about 2 months from performance quality. Craig has another book/cd combo that I will purchase in about a year. Nice job, Craig!

Love the arrangements in this book! I'm sure the fact that some of the songs are at my level of playing helps my opinion. Others are a little challenging, but possible in time. Well worth the money.

The book is good. However, it says it also contains a playalong CD which it did not.

Very nice arrangements and the CD is wonderful

I'm primarily an electric guitar player who focuses on rock and blues but I also love fingerstyle. I've had this book for about 10 years and still love playing the tunes. I played Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus and O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing for my sister's wedding and received tons of compliments. The songs are arranged well and are simple with just enough color and challenge to make it them interesting to learn. Highly recommended!

I have been self-teaching finger-style guitar for about 2 years now.I bought this book about 8-9 months ago after having bought another e-book by Craig Dobbins called "The AGW Gospel Collection" (see [...] ).I have completed working through the first e-book and have two more songs to go on this "Hymns for Finger-style Guitar".I love every one of the songs arranged by Mr. Dobbins.I find that those arrangements sound beautiful and yet are easy enough for me to work through at my skill level.I will buy another Gospel finger-style book from Mr. Dobbins if he ever authors new one.
