It Works for my Acer Nitro 5. I left my original charger at work on Friday, so I decided to order this to have as an extra on hand in case I do it again. Product arrived on Sunday, seems to be well made with thick cables. It did not get very warm when I tested it during a video game. The overall 10 foot cable is absolutely great. In fact, I am going to be taking this one around with me and leave my original Acer charger at home since this is longer. I can not comment on longevity as I just received it, but first impressions exceeded my expectations. Will update if I feel the need.

I bought this for my Aspire 7 since the charger broke. Though the picture says 7.1A like my old charger the one DELIVERED actually says the output is 6.32A. So the product LIED. Will update on the longevity of it if need be, but so far its fine. Good build, ok size (little on the large size), and it works. Also I appreciate the added velcro strap.UPDATE:That being said I kept it because it DID work for my Aspire 7. It charged and when I played games with it plugged in it still charged. HOWEVER after 2 weeks it became finicky, and would only charger if you held it at a weird angle or if it was halfway plugged in. Then a week later I couldn't get it to charger reliably at all. so in conclusion the product LIED and then failed after 2 weeks. DO NOT BUY.

The first two months, it worked great. The only thing would be the occasional overheating when I was gaming but I was informed that was normal. Its been two months and all of a sudden, it it not working. When its plugged into my laptop, its flickering with its power, like there is some sort of electrical short in it. I am not pleased.

It works fine with my Acer laptop. My dog bit my laptop charger wire so I now keep it away from my dog's reach.

It gets really hot when gaming is that normal? I Hope it does not overheat and stop working

For the first 10 minites of use it would only keep the laptop on at 0%. Them it started charging. It says about 2 hours for a full charge. Seems good to me. Worried me at first. Must have been a long 1%.

The power cord that connects to the adapter can get loose sometimes, other than that, great product. Found it perfect for Helios 300.
