A nice reliable pair of ear defenders for autism
Appearance: The color pink is accurate to the picture shown.Size: Fits my adult head well, has expanders to fit height to size. I don’t feel like my head is being crushed as others have said, though I don’t have a wide head. Appearance wise, they look bigger than the ear defenders I typically see people wearing but I don’t mind.Ease of Use: They are very easy to fit back into a ball to carry. It takes a bit of pulling to get them to fit on the head because you have to expand the metal out of the cuffs. I was a bit surprised by the force needed but once I did it a few times it became easier.Feel: I can have these on my head all day long. The cuffs fit completely over my ears so they are extremely comfortable in that way. It does put pressure inside my ears as if I was on an airplane. It’s not majorly bothersome but takes a bit of getting used to.Sound: When I first put these over my ears, I actually started tearing up because everything got so quiet. All of the background noise just completely stopped. I can still hear people talking. I can hear sirens. I can hear overhead announcements. But it blocks out a lot of the music sounds that hurt as well as the general small repetitive noises that would make me angry like chewing or walking or people tapping, etc.Durability: I cannot say anything on this quite yet as I’ve only had them a few days, but so far they have been durable. I have taken them on a trip and they held up well with me tossing them around and dropping them. The cushion on the part that sits on my head is still in tact. The metal feels sturdy. The cushions on the ear muffs do not have any imperfections. And the pink part is a very hard plastic.Sleep quality: I actually have fallen asleep with these on and I didn’t wake up in pain at all. I was very comfortable the whole time. They are a bit bulky to get used to and lay on but once you figure out a good position, it feels nice.Overall I would recommend. This is my first pair of ear defenders so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really like these.

Perfect for stopping most every decibel; needed stretching.
Absolutely stop most all sounds! I nap in a recliner with 2 little dogs and my spouse can watch tv in the same room and it doesn't bother me. BUT, my hat size is 7 and these things were really tight! I've had them around a box as suggested and they're loosening but have a way to go yet. They seal well around my ears even with over-the-ear hearing aids so I don't have to remove them. A bit large and "industrial" looking but at my age I really don't care!

Love these earphones!!
These earphones mute the noise so much!! We connected our Sena 50s to them and now when we go out in the side by side we can talk to each other and listen to music with no outside noise interference. Love these earphones!!

Good at everyday noise reduction. A little too tight.
I have sensory needs that require me to use noise-cancelling earmuffs, and these work perfectly to reduce the sound to a level that is bearable.I have a smaller head, but the headphones are still a little tight. They are somewhat awkward to put on, and then the bottom of the muff digs into the soft part just behind my jaw, under my ear. I also wear glasses, and these hurt the sides of my head a little bit as they press the frames into the side of my head above my ear. However, they function very well. I've taken them to concerts and they have done a good job at reducing the sound even in those very loud situations. Of course, not perfect, and I'm sure something with a higher dB noise cancelling would be even better, but these are good for everyday wear. Noise of conversations at the other end of a room become almost silent.

Noise reduction is outstanding working outside
This ear protection headset is fantastic! The headset is the proper size for me and the earpieces are snug but comfortable for hours working outside. The headset eliminates any outside noise to include the noise generated from large heavy machinery and construction. I like them so much I am ordering another set!

Greatly Reduced the Noise
One day while using my hand held vac in a tight space, the noise was too much for my ears. I realized I needed ear protection so I looked and found these. Wow! What a difference it made the next time I ran the vac. I won't vac without them.

Smaller and Tighter Than Expected
My 9 year old had some Dr Meter earmuffs that we got over 3 years ago, and I wanted something for an older child. I read the reviews and several people mentioned that teenagers and some adults used these, so I thought they would be a bit larger. I was very disappointed. The ear muff inner size is smaller, and they do not expand as much as the older ones we had. They are also a little bit heavier and less flexible. The two positive things about these earmuffs are that they have more cushioning and use more pressure for a tighter fit. The tighter fit makes my head hurt but my son says it blocks out more noise. I guess we are keeping these and seeing if they last. (Images: Dr Meter or left and Pro Case on right.)

Nice quality
I live in an apartment where the neighbors can get pretty noisy. I have had 3-4 different sets of "ear muffs" over the years. These ear muffs are by far the best set I've ever had and have had significant noise reduction. Also you can't beat the price at $10.
