We use this type of packing tape for our small, vitamin retail distribution business. For 10 years we have used kraft tape from ULine but for a couple of reasons including shipping costs, we looked for an alternative. We use a lever actuated tape dispenser like this tape was meant for. I have been watching with a wary eye as some of the reviews have noted problems with glue. So far we have not seen anything like that. Our dispenser does a good job of wetting the glue and in small and large packages we have not seen any issues. I will update this if it becomes necessary but so far this tape has been reasonably priced and has performed well.

This tape offers a very durable finish when put onto a cardboard box. It is annoying to have to add water but you get used to it with a spray bottle. The tape takes several minutes to temporary dry and full-strength form my experience will take several hours. There are strings inside the tape itself which I assume adds strength overall. I been shipping over 500 boxes with these and I had no complaints from my customer regarding the tape coming off or anything. Overall good for the price and perfect for small businesses.

I have used it successfully to seal large, heavy packages. If carefully wetted and applied immediately, it serves its purposes exceptionally well.

I have used paper tapes for 39 years after being told by USPS employees that it was required to safely ship high value packages. At the time I shipped Gold and the package had to be tamper proof per USPS requirements for insurance. I have used the paper tapes ever since, clear conventional tape rapidly deteriorate in dry vlimates like Arizona and becomes useless.

Lol. Reason I am laughing is because I did mot buy it for packing. I am doodling on it and you can cut it anywhere you want and put on a journal page or greeting card. Great roll of tape. Have not tried to use the adhesive side.

I needed this Kraft gum tape for an antique dispenser that I had for my business. It arrived promptly and worked perfectly. After feeding it through my old machine (probably from the 1950's or older), I was so happy that it worked so well. You just have to get used to how to use the tape properly. It's a balance to figure out exactly how much water you want on the tape and making sure to hold it down for a moment to get a good grip. (I make sure to smooth down the edges a few times before walking away from a freshly sealed package). Very happy with this product and will definitely reorder.

I'm always surprised when I see people using clear packaging tape to seal their packages. Take a tip from the big boys. The fiberglass fiber reinforcements make this water-activated Brown Kraft Gum Tape indestructible and the gum adhesive sticks well and won't let go or peel. (Just check the package from your last AMZ delivery).
