My favorite seasoning to use when frying seafood. Full of flavor. Just enough heat. A little salt heavy but I tame it by adding a little semolina. Love that I get 3 boxes. It’s worth the value.

Love this spi e for my Catfish. It was the right amount of spices and it goes well on chicken. The slap your momma slogan goes right along with the spices. You do not need to add anything else to this coating.it is worth the money and the value for your fish or chicken.

Try this when frying zucchini or tomatoes, etc. Fantastic. My son is a convert for fried chicken and wants it fixed with this all the time. I do wish there was a lower salt alternative. It is VERY salty, which accounts for why we probably love it! I am going to look for some fine ground cornmeal to cut it down just a bit...see if I like it better that way. Shared one package with a friend. Ran out too soon and ordering again!

We were using a national brand Cajun fish fry for a few years, which we liked. For whatever reason, it is no longer available at our grocery store. I did an Amazon search and found Slap Ya Mama. We decided to give it a try... and like it more than the national brand. Good flavor, light coating... we love it on fresh haddock. We're sold and will soon reorder. Even if the other brand reappears, we'll be sticking with this.
