XFMT Aluminum Twin Cam Carburetor Carb Compatible with Harley Dyna Wide Super Glide FXD Low Rider

I had a carburetor issue on my 2001 Harley Sportster 883 and bought this one as a cheap replacement just to get me by. I had to take some throttle linkage parts off of the other carburetor and swap to the new one but was able to make it work. I also had to get some new screws for the breather bracket. But once installed it was a decent carburetor. It has an automatic choke but it seemed to work just fine. Not to mention they sent a lot more than just a carburetor. The package included spark plugs, fuel filters, fuel line, hose clamps, intake manifold gaskets, and different jet needles for the carburetor.

I'm pretty skeptical when buying aftermarket parts but after reading reviews of previous buyers I decided to try it. This carburetor worked very well. I had two issues however. The throttle cable bracket did not match up exactly, but a little grinding with a dremel worked. Second issue was that the choke assembly was stuck in the new carburetor. I had to feed the choke cable into the slot and yank it out and ended up using the old choke plug since it operated more smoothly. For the money, the hassle was minimal. After fixing the two minor issues, it functioned very well.

Direct swap for a CV 40mm carb. I used the old jets and they fit perfectly. Comes with its own assortment of jets, fuel and air line, fuel filter, and longer main adjustment screw and idle screw.After swapping the jets I installed on my FXR with aftermarket S&S motor and it fired up immediately.If you need a replacement carb this is the one to get.I tried used OEM on eBay but one I received the screw was stripped out and Tupper was in worse condition than mine.Buy new and be good to go!Very pleased with the carburetor.

I needed a carb for my 2002 softail classic. Installed this in minutes. Only problem was that the air cleaner mount holes were 6m metric and not 1/4 20 threads. Made new air cleaner mounts from parts from home depot. Runs great. Very satisfied. Not a leaker. Never even had to adjust the air screws. Top line product.

Waste of money. Rebuilt my old carb and this piece of junk is sittin on my bench. Idled well, decent on the pilot circuit but once throttle was wide open, ran like crap on the main. Swapped jets before installing to match my old carb. It's just junk. Threw 100 bucks away.

Swapped for my sportster carb that was clogged. I have a 1250 s&s build so it bumps up my jets. I also use a nos kit

The package arrived before it said it was. Which was great, but the fuel filter that came with it was busted because it was made of plastic. A little plastic filter in the same box as a big metal Carburetor does not go well. So all the other parts were worth the money, just not the fuel filter. Now I have to go buy the filter.

Works like a champion and comes with different jets for your area climate
