Easy installation, works perfectly
This worked perfectly. My unit was a little different from the diagram in the instructions but it was a simple installation. Removed 3 screws in the outer case then 2 screws on the board. All the plugs fit perfectly though the wires were a bit short in my unit making it challenging to see the pin alignment were plugging in the board.Programming instructions work like a charm, follow them.

Fixed Craftsman Garage door opener
Direct swap that is easy to do if you have kept the original owners manual. You can still do it with the instructions provided just note that the logic board is where the wires to the switch is and the operational reset and manual lift/lower button and not necessarily behind the light bulb. Quality part that fixed a dead door due to probably lightning. Note: put the opener on a surge protector. Just like the original. Thanks!

Worked as replacement for Craftsman garage door opener logic board
Seems to be an exact replacement for the logic board in my craftsman garage door opener. Model 54985 1/2 HP. Came with good instructions. Installation was relatively straightforward. Saved a lot of money doing this myself!

Worked, easy to install
4 stars because the new board did not come with a label. Replaced old board because remote programming no longer worked and opener stopped working entirely. Replacement board works perfect.

Ease of installation and exact fit for my garage door opener
I only hope that this unit will survive quite a bit longer than the original. Just under five years of service on the original seems to be at the low end of my expectations. Perhaps the original one was the proverbial lemon and this one will go 20 + years.I should add that when installing the unit I was not sure of the voltage supply to the sensors and the wall unit. Contacting the manufacturer I received some inaccurate information as to whether the voltage should read A.C or D.C. Since the drive motor for the unit was A.C. I was advised that the voltages in question were also A.C. That does not seem to be the case, as after installation and operation, the voltages in question are reading on the D.C. scale. No big deal, just some info someone might find useful.

Such a great buy!
My garage door wall remote wasn't working for a little over two years due to a power outage. After the first month or two, I "knew" it was the logic board, but couldn't bring myself to spend nearly $100 for an item I wasn't completely sure about, nor wanted to install, in fear of it not being the solution to my garage remote problem. After more than a year of going back and forth, I saw this item for quite less than $100, and finally pulled the trigger. Boy am I glad I did! This item came VERY quickly, had great instructions, and was very simple to install. The BEST part, it fixed the issue and I can now open and close the garage from the inside! I hate paying someone to do something I can do, so I'm glad I gave this a shot and glad it worked!

Just buy new opener
Replaced logic board (and light sensors) in my garage door opener (2018) with this new replacement board. Can get maybe 3 or 4 cycles of door opening and closing then nothing. Blinking fault lights give various fault conditions - nothing consistent between failures. Door operates fine manually opening and closing so is not the problem. So much wasted time now trying to ferret out the problem.Should have saved my money and bought everything new - did that tonight.
