One Piece, Vol. 91 Paperback – August 6, 2019

One Piece, Vol. 91, has once again proven why it remains an unrivaled masterpiece in the world of manga. After being alluded to back in volume 67 of One Piece We have finally arrived in Wano in volume One Piece 91. Much like the Whole Cake Island Arc the art style of Wano is very different from the rest of One Piece. It's very cool to see Oda flex his artistic prowess, as the very land of Wano is inspired by classic pieces of Edo period art.On the one hand it's very exciting to have all the Straw Hats on the same island for the first time in over 10 volumes. There's also a lot of interesting new concepts being introduced, as we are finally seeing what Smile Devil Fruit do. However if I do have one complaint it's the fact the over half of the volume feels a bit slow but thankfully it picks up by the end. So I would give the volume a 4.5 if I could. That being said I know that a lot of that was necessary world building that will have a large pay off. From here on out we are going to be on a grand adventure in the land of the samurai.

Holy carp it's Kaido 's true form!! Wow we have a lot of new players in Wano not to mention even higher stakes. This is amazing.

A great start to the Land of Wano Arc. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the chapters in this Volume in the anime. Luffy and Zoro’s reunion in the anime was better than in the manga.

One Piece is still as much fun to read now as it was over a decade ago. Though I am fearful I will die before Luffy becomes king of the pirates.
