When I first purchased my car, one of the essential items on my list was a fire extinguisher, and I ended up choosing the FIRST ALERT AUTO5 Car Fire Extinguisher. Although I haven’t had to use it (thankfully!), I feel a lot more secure knowing it's there, just in case. Having this extinguisher on hand gives me peace of mind, especially during road trips or when driving through more remote areas. One of the best things about this extinguisher is its compact size. It’s small enough to fit in the trunk of my car or even under the passenger seat without taking up much space. For anyone with a smaller car or limited storage, this is ideal. Despite its size, it feels functional and sturdy, like it’s built to do the job if ever needed. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, which is reassuring for something you may rely on in an emergency. The packaging was robust and secure when it arrived, which helped confirm the quality of the product from the start. There was no damage or wear during shipping, and everything felt tightly sealed. The extinguisher itself looks solid, and even after keeping it in my car for some time now, it still feels like new—no signs of wear or corrosion. While I haven’t had to put it to the test (and hopefully never will), the instructions are clear and easy to follow, so if an emergency were to happen, I feel confident that I could use it quickly. This fire extinguisher gives me peace of mind at home. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to store in the kitchen or even in the car. The instructions are clear and easy to follow in an emergency. I appreciate that it’s UL rated 5-B:C, which means it’s effective for multiple fire types (gasoline, grease, electrical, etc.). The build feels solid, and the pressure gauge is easy to read. Hopefully, I’ll never need to use it, but it’s reassuring to have one ready. A great investment in safety that every home and vehicle should have. Also safe to to say I have one that a bought for my jetski and it fit perfect!

I bought a total of 5 of these to keep one in each of my vehicles as emergency extinguishers. They’re the perfect size and shape to fit easily in a trunk, center console, truck box, etc. I’ve fortunately never had to use one so I can’t speak for how well they’ll work. My only criticism is that the mounting bracket that this comes with only has holes in it designed for wall mounting. There really should be openings molded into the plastic to allow a mounting strap or molle strap or even rope to be able to secure this to a roll cage or other automobile surface. Especially considering this is marketed as being suitable for use in a vehicle fire. I doubt anyone wants to drill holes into the inside of their car to mount this. Otherwise, as stated it’s a well made unit that’s a compact size and is priced competitively.

We keep this in our camper. It’s sturdy and well made. Fits in a small space. Haven’t had to use it yet so hopefully it works as it should! Good price for a necessary safety item.

This is a really well built extinguisher. I have quite a few of them. This style is rechargeable, and is all metal. Ok, so the gauge is plastic, and so is the holding mount. Everything else is durable metal. These are designed for 10yrs of storage. White color is typically used in Marine environments, or RVs......but can be used anywhere.

I recently had a mishap with a lit match that fell into and caught fire within the A/C vents under the windshield and rods extinguisher saved my truck. I had this extinguisher since 2019, moving it from one vehicle to another, bouncy around off-road and camping, and it worked like a charm when I finally needed it. The powder is a little annoying to get out (use a leaf blower and then some damp rags), but it's a hell of a lot better than losing your car to a fire. This is well worth the price because for $26 bucks, I saved my only car. I just got two more because I can't afford to not have them.

Does not come with screws for mounting. The variety of materials it could be mounted to would make them including screws pointless or a giant waste. For instance: I needed push fasteners. Your project, your responsibility to get the right hardware. That said, the mounting holes and size make it perfect for our (new to us) nucamp Tab 400 teardrop trailer. Great peace of mind, and mounting was easy.
