I recently bought the Simpli Home shelf from Amazon and overall, I’m very pleased with it.Shipping and Logistics: 2/5I ordered it on May 21st, Amazon expected Prime Delivery by 10pm on May 24th, but it didn’t ship until May 23rd. It ended up arriving on May 27th, so the delivery timing was definitely off.Delivery Experience: 5/5The shelf is super heavy, and I was amazed that the Amazon driver managed to deliver it on his own. He handled it really well, much better than some white-glove services I’ve experienced. I really wish I could have tipped him, but unfortunately, I wasn’t home when it arrived.Packaging: 5/5The packaging was excellent. Everything was recyclable except for the plastic wrap. The cardboard padding kept the wood pieces in perfect shape, though a few shelving parts including the top, already had some scratches on them before we took them out.Ease of Assembly: 5/5Putting it together was pretty easy. The wood is heavy, and the hardware was organized in small, clearly labeled bags. My husband assembled it in under an hour. I think he could’ve done it all on his own, but he had me help by holding the door while he screwed it in. The only issues were some uneven pre-drilled holes for the shelf pegs and the weak magnets on the doors.Overall I’m happy with this piece of furniture, the quality is amazing for the price we paid.We needed a piece that could serve as an altar table and needed to fit a specific height requirement. Other options with intricate designs were way too expensive (starting at $1300), but this shelf was just $300 and met our needs perfectly.Despite a few minor issues, I’m very happy with the shelf. It’s a great quality piece that looks good and was relatively easy to assemble. The small flaws with the pre-drilled holes and weak magnets are the only things I’d change. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for the price.

Hi, needed a taller cabinet for storing all of our Tupperware and Small Nesco, 3 Crockpots and Kitchen Tabletop indoor Grill. This worked perfectly! Assembled it by myself in 1 hr and 15 minutes.I laid the pieces on a fleece blanket to keep from scratching it during assembly. The assembly instruction pictures and descriptions could definitely be rewritten and more specific, but it all went together great. Only issue I had was tring to get the pins in for the shelf supports. Holes were a tad too small and the pins are not tapered so getting them started took holding the pins with a pliers and hammering them in with a rubber mallet. They also missed one pilot hole for attaching the top to the sides so one screw out of the six I had to drill a hole to get that installed. Seems you always run in to a snag or two when you buy things in a “kit” form. But all in all, very nice cabinet, very nice finish, and looks great! I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality cabinet instead of the pressed board garbage that is half the price but has many, many flaws in quality, finish, and in being sturdy. The media could not be loaded.  This cabinet is solid wood, beautiful style, great for a smaller space yet large enough to store what I needed to.PROS: This was shipped with care, no damage whatsoever. Plenty of thick, solid styrofoam and sturdy cardboard. Putting it together was fairly easy, took about an hour, simple instructions. We used a thick blanket underneath as we assembled to avoid scuffing the wood and finish. The size is wonderful, perfect for what I needed. I have an 8 place-setting china set and it works perfectly for that. Solid wood, with exception to backing, which is a pretty sturdy veneer. It's a thin layer of material and it is better than particle board. There were no nails, only screws and solid hardware, which is a bonus. And they sent extra hardware just in case.CONS: *1st problem—after assembly, it was time to put in the shelves. The top left shelf had to be (gently) pounded down with a rubber mallet as the pre-drilled holes for the center vertical wall were a little off. But the shelf lays level so it worked out fine. *2nd problem—the doors do not align. You must shut them at the same time in order for them to shut together. (See video) This might bother some, but I am fine with it as I won't be getting into this cabinet on a regular basis. As long as the doors shut, I'm fine with it.Overall, I am happy with this purchase and love the way it looks in my kitchen with my china displayed inside. I have read other reviews about the doors not being aligned, but not all the reviews mentioned it. I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones that the doors would not be a problem for, but oh well.

For the most part it was simple to assemble, except getting the doors on. Even with the pre drilled holes for the hinges it was a job. We bought two cabinets. After the fight to get the doors on the first one, I pre-screwed the hinge wholes a little way with the screws with the second one. That made it easier to get the screws started and actually see the wholes.In the end I love the cabinets. Sturdy and beautiful.

This looks beautiful when put together but it's very poorly built. I wish I could return it but it took so long to put together! The magnets to hold the doors closed don't work-- I'm going to have to find a way to rig the doors myself. And the shelves are not cut properly. DONT BUY!

This cabinet is easy to assemble, beautiful, highly functional and outstanding quality. It’s well worth it.

Good finishes applied well to solid wood. I know it's solid, because to fit my application (basement cabinet that houses a water pipe!) I had to cut out huge chunks of it from the back and sides and midsection support. Despite my material removal, the cabinet still feels study and looks great.First time I've tried buying furniture from Amazon. But this worked out really well: it's a lovely piece, packaged safely and easy to assemble.

This exceeded my expectation, the hutch looks elegant and very sturdy, was well packaged and delivery was easier than expected. I am well pleased with my purchase.
