This product is well made. I used it and another male plug to fabricate a transitional jumper to adapt a heater to a standard welding plug outlet. Be advised that it also includes a chord clamp inside, so you will not need to purchase one separately, nice savings.

Would like this product better, and would’ve given 5 stars, if it would seal to be waterproof. It functions great, easy to install, but would be a big plus if it was waterproof.

This is very well made, and tough. The plastic is slightly flexible and not liable to cracking. Installation was very quick with the lay flat terminals. The front snugly fit over the base and was held in place by a screw.Knockouts are provided on the bottom and back.The receptacle terminals are aluminum, with copper portions that will make contact with your plug.All hardware is provided inside the unit during shipping, so no more annoying loss of a screw during transit.
