Good Quality and Whisper Quite!
This pump works great. Super Powerful and Whisper Quite. This is the Second One I bought and have had it for months. I made a Canister Filter with it. Way more Power than I needed but I didn't want to go too low either. I bought the second one to make a second Canister Filter for a 40 Gallon Breeder Build I am working on. This is powerful enough for a small pond pump Canister Filter. The Only drawback is there is not a Connection for an Input. So no way to Filter the water before it enters the Pump. So, I wouldn't just stick it in a Pond. That's why I say put it In a DIY Bucket Filter if you want to use it for a Pond Pump. You can find DIY Bucket, Canister Filters on Youtube if your Interested. But, Again, the Pump is Great Quality and for the Price you can't Beat It.

Looks the same, but *seriously* outperforms some of the lookalikes.
Sound level is very good for a pump of this flow. I bought it to use in a Low-Pressure Aeroponics setup - emphasis on learning about LPA without breaking the bank. The outside casing makes it look like about 50 other water pumps carrying various names at similar price points and advertised flow rates, but it puts out more than twice the water of a nearly identical-looking 640GPH pump, and my misting heads can be tightened enough to produce very fine mist without stopping the flow altogether. This little 800GPH pump is likely a little less powerful than it claims, as the lift height is stated at 10', and at 6' the water flow is quite restricted. But for a small, cheap "testing" setup, it works great even with 10 misting heads on 1/4" PEC irrigation tubing. The fittings seat and seal well on the pump outlet, and a spare suction cup is included in the box. Also of interest, the noise level is actually lower than my 640GPH pump.Wattage is as specified, with very occasional increase/decrease, and connecting it to my 1500VA/900W UPS system barely increases the load, dropping the 450-minute "unloaded" reserve capacity by just 12 minutes. Running only this pump on it I would have more than 7 hours of water flow if the power goes out.The pump itself is about twice the size of the 640GPH, and more than twice the weight. Mounting it to the side of a reservoir requires an absolute minimum water depth of 5.5", and with a "Y" splitter in the outlet for balanced pressure in a looped irrigation setup I recommend placing one of the nipples on the pump outlet and using tubing to connect the splitter so you can lay the splitter flat in your reservoir and place the pump upright on the bottom as there are water intakes that must both be submerged on both ends of the pump. Using 1/4" irrigation tubing without a cap and free-flowing, the inlet flow control at the front makes no noticeable difference in the amount of water flow, so if precision flow is required you'll need inline valves, but for my setup, adjusting the misting heads is enough. So far, I'm quite impressed with this little guy, and no longer worried about finding my plants dead from lack of hydration or nutrients. If it lasts awhile, this will have been a great buy - one I highly recommend for smaller LPA hydroponics setups or even a 3-bucket tower or up to 10-bucket Dutch Bucket system. At this price point, I can keep a couple of these on the shelf in case of failure, and if they last 6 months or more in use, they'll be well worth the cost.

Great Pump for the money!
The pump itself works very well! I have used it pretty consistently for over a year. My only real complaint is that when I was cleaning it the barb broke off and I couldn’t remove it. Maybe it says everything I need to that I replaced it with the exact same one.

Good little water pump. Would recommend.
Honestly, this little thing defied my expectations. I like that you can turn the know and slow the water down on open it fully to have it go faster. This makes it really easy to empty our dog pool and use our rain barrels to water our garden. Don't forget to buy the tubing because it's a separate purchase.

Great little pump
This little pump has paid its way already. I needed to pump some water out of an old pool. I fitted a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter to the outlet so I could attach a garden hose. With 75 ft of hose and a 3 ft lift it was pumping around 230 gallons per hour. As the water level dropped the flow reduced so at 5 ft lift it was around 180 gallons per hour. It pumped out about 7500 gallons without any issues. If the flow rate is suitable then this is a great little pump.

Highly recommend
Nicely made pump and is surprisingly affordable. Highly recommend over buying one of the smaller Alpine pumps, return a pad400 pump that had the side cover falling off in the box and it wouldn't stay on. This pump does what it's supposed to do. One downside is that cord is only a few feet long.

Great Pump for Cold Plunge
Using for my cold plunge and it works great. Would recommend if you want a submersible pump. Will not work externally from the cold plunge.

Decent Product, but Has Room for Improvement
I’ve been using the VIVOSUN 800GPH submersible pump for a few months in my hydroponic setup. It gets the job done, but there are a few things to be aware of before buying.Pros:Decent Flow Rate: The advertised 800GPH seems fairly accurate under optimal conditions. It moves water efficiently and keeps circulation consistent.Quiet Operation: It’s pretty quiet—definitely not silent, but the noise is minimal and unobtrusive, especially when submerged fully.Includes Accessories: The three nozzle options are a nice touch and allow for some customization depending on your setup.Cons:High Lift Exaggerated: The 10ft lift is a bit optimistic. In real-world use, it struggled to maintain decent pressure past 6-7 feet.Durability Questionable: After about 2 months, the output noticeably dropped. I cleaned the unit and impeller, but performance didn’t fully recover.Short Cord: The 6.5ft cord is okay for small setups, but it was a bit restrictive for my needs. You might need an extension depending on your layout.Overall, it’s a decent pump for smaller systems or hobbyist use, but I wouldn’t rely on it for anything critical or large-scale. If you’re looking for something more heavy-duty or long-lasting, you might want to invest in a higher-end model.
