So I ordered this set because it is a beautiful set. I am disapdisappointed in the quality of the seam work on it though. I think I got some defective pieces. The neck pillow has a horible sewn seam where they stuffed it and the end of the pillow has threads unraveling and the seam coming apart. After a week the thread for one seam has unraveled and the pillow is falling apart. I'm not sure if it has something to do with this is where the tag is sewn or not but with the little bit of knowledge I have of sewing I am inclined to think not. The tassel on the one pillow completely fell apart and off and the pillow is stuffed funny and lumpy. I've washed the pillow cases twice now and one of them ripped somehow in the wash which doesn't make sense because I washed it with my fitted sheet and the other pillow case and nothing else. The comforter seems ok but given everything else I'm not confident in it standing up for long. I plan on contacting the seller so we'll see how that goes. Ill update my review after I do that.*UPDATESo it's MLK JR day and I just got a response from ecity direct asking for a pic of the damaged items so they can email the manufacturer for a replacement. I have sent them a pic and ill update again with what happens.*Update #2After 2 days and several emails back and fourth I got an email today saying they were shipping out replacement items today. So we'll see how this goes but so far my dealings with this have been pretty easy and ecity has been very prompt in their responses. So far I am pleased in their level of customer service. I'll update again once I get the replacement items.*UPDATE #3So I got the replacement pillows and pillow case on 1/28/14. I have to say dealing with customer service at ecity has been a pleasant experience. This is the first time I've ever had to contact a seller about anything and it couldn't have been any easier. I didn't have to send back the defective pillows or pillow case just email them pics and when all I expected was 2 pillows and one pillow case to be replaced they actually just sent me all the decorative pillows set and 2 pillow cases so now I have an extra pillow and pillow case! I could not be more pleased with their service. I would give them a five star rating for service for sure. Now as far as the quality of this bed set. This I rate a 2-3 star. I ordered the king set and the construction had some definite flaws. First the comforter is nice looking but after owning/ using it for a month and washing it twice the filler has bunched on the bottom end and this is unavoidable unless there is a giant machine that can wash it totally flat, I don't know of one of these. There are 6 places where there is a 2 inch sew to keep the filler in place but this is ineffective. The pillow with the tassel will shed it's tassel within no time so expect that.I reireinforced the tassel on the second pillow a few days after I got it because it started to fall apart. I wouldn't expect this pillow to keep it's tassel long if you order this set unless you never ever wash the pillow or use it and definitely never touch the tassel. The neck pillow I got the second time had much nicer seams and wasn't as lumpy as the first but I can say the lumpyness of this pillow is because it is stuffed with little balls of batting and not adequately stuffed. It will flatten out over time but the nice thing is putting it in the dryer should fluff it back up. The rectangle pillow is the best constructed and will last the longest I'm sure. The pillowcase I got that ripped I'm sure was a fluke and I wouldnt expect that to be a common issue but I would like to mention that sleeping in the decoratively stitched side isn't exactly the soft comfortable feel most would like from their pillow. I personally flip the pillow over and sleep on the smooth fabric side so I don't feel the scratchy stitching. I wouldn't expect really long lived use from this set unless it was in a rarely used guest room. Oh and also if you have a cat or dog that sleeps with you expect the decorative stitching to be snagged by claws.

We bought this comforter once before. In person at a store It was $40 cheaper and it wasn't as rough. The material feels cheaper.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. It's a beautiful comforter set, however, upon examining it before washing it, we noticed a whole bunch of loose threads. Hence the 4-star review.

It was exactly what my sister wanted, it even has fish on it. My only disappointment is quality vs price. It is THIN, which os perfect for summer. But for the price I paid, I was expecting quality.

comfy nice comforter. the material had a few ripped strings of thread witch concerns me that it will come apart. but other than that its nice i like it. the price i feel is a little over than average but i like it

I just love love love it. It's exactly like the picture. Color is dead on. Quality is good. Not a thick as I thought it would be but still is very warm. I've been looking for the perfect red comforter for years now. My search is finally over
