These are the best battery operated lights I have ever used, because they have a convenient remote that can adjust the light patterns 8 ways, an attractive warm white light and can be uses indoors and out, with a handy timer. I recently used them inside lanterns with ornaments for a holiday party table setting and right now have them in the wreath on my outside door. I also use them in a fairy garden to light up their house all summer.

so these lights are great!! they are really bright (but you can dim them); bright enough to be beautiful even in a brightly lit room. we used a string of 100 to surround each of the centerpieces on the tables for my parents' 50th anniversary.the programs all work well (someone else posted videos of that).i cannot speak to battery life because we only had these on for just over 4 hours. the remote that came with these worked on all of the other string sets as well, so there is no need to carry around multiple remotes to control them. the remote also worked on some net-mesh led lights we bought.these have a tendency to knot/kink when you are unrolling them, but that doesn't impact their performance in any way that i could see.

Overall, good quality. Requires 3-AA batts. Wires are silver. The Kelvin score is 2800-3200K, which puts it into the warm white category of 2,000-3,000K, and slightly into the cool white 3,100-4,500K. They do have a slightly cool tinge, but overall they look warm white. The difference is noticeable if you are mixing them with warmer white lights under 3,000K.I have these outside under a covered porch. They are holding up well in rainy, cold winter weather. They work well with the remotes. I refresh the batteries every month with nightly use.

I really like these, however, I did have 1 of the 4 have the wire break after only moving once. Because the wire broke, half of the strand did not work and it had to be tossed out. The wire was too thin to try to repair.

I love these twinkle lights. Remote on and off with timer and a variety of options for flashing, etc. my only issue is that some of the lights in this set varied in size and brightness. It was strange. I used all new batteries so i know that wasn’t the problem. I have two sets in a large garland and the varying sizes and brightness made it difficult. I had to weave one strand from one end to the other and the same with the second. Otherwise one part of the garland looked brighter than the other. Sorry, not sure that made perfect sense. Never had this issue with twinkle lights and we own quite a few sets.

I ordered these lights to illuminate houses inside a china cabinet. I did not want to drill holes for cords. They are very cute and the remote is handy so I can turn on and off without disturbing the items in the cabinet. If you desire more brightness, order more lights. They are plenty bright for my purposes and a soft white/yellow light, not the bright blue of led lights. I have not tested the duration of the battery as it has only been turned on a handful of evenings. My initial order came missing one set of lights. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement of 2 light sets immediately! Some would say this is less than a 5 star review but we are all human and I appreciate the prompt service to fix the error. So 5 stars in my book!

Love that there are a different modes. Works well and makes the decor look amazing.Updated review It's been 8 month since I have purchased and 3 of them have stopped working. I cannot recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I use these on the ceiling for ambient low lighting. The 6 hour timer is perfect. The video shows how I shaped them in a heart and hung them in the window near the amazing hummingbird feeder, which makes a lovely frame for the view. Great for a tent too!
