bought it years ago and it is still working. very durable

I needed a new case for my iPhone XS Maxx so, of course I go on and look at Amazon! Here are the pro's and cons of this case:Pros-1. Slim -- doesn't add to much extra to the Phone.2. Dropped it from about waist height (I am 6 6") -- phone did not break and no visible damage to case.3. Has storage in the back for credit cards -- currently and holding my ID and insurances in there.4. Logo is on the back of the phone but since it is a black case it is hard to see the logo if you are more for aesthetics.Cons-1. Is you have non-nimble fingers this case may not be for you given it is somewhat slippery to begin with and has minimal grip.2. There is a sticker on the back of the sliding mechanism that holds your cards -- I have not been able to remove it so it does get annoying from time to time.3. Case is hard to remove but if needing to remove I recommend you start from the bottom of the phone so you can get just the 2 corners done and then it can slide out.Will keep updating this as time goes on and if durability changes or I notice anything else!Thank you.

I love this case so much that when it started to show signs of wear (1 yr), I bought a second one to replace it. The area where you can store your cards (I have three back there) is very secure, the door clicks/locks securely closed preventing random openings. The cards are also recessed in their pocket, so you do need a fingernail to retrieve them, but this just adds to their security. The pocket does not interfere with charging, I use a wireless charging station. I hope they make this exact case for the new iPhone 13. I'll definitely be buying it.

I LOVE THIS PHONE CASE!! It’s durable and looks good. My phone has survived numerous drops (uploaded photos from my iPhone 7, just bought again for iPhone XS Max). You can still use a pop socket on here and it doesn’t effect how it opens. Raised edges to protect the screen. Can fit 2 cards comfortably, 3 if they don’t have the raised numbers on them (or those ridiculously thick cards). Can still use on a wireless charger! Even with my pop socket I just slide open the door and it works just fine (pop socket is too thick). It says to take your cards out while using the wireless so I definitely would listen unless you want it to potentially melt them. The edges of the phone are not slippery. Best case there is! Except now I constantly misplace my wallet since I never need it.*****EDITI had a pink one for my iPhone XS Max with no issues except my cards ended up falling out constantly due to the sliding door wearing out from having the pop socket on it. I tried to order the black one and now the hard part of the case in the area by the silence switch does NOT properly line up with the rest of the case. Although I am impressed but the ridiculous fast shipping and LOVED this case before, this one is garbage. The first black one I bought did this so I ordered a replacement which I received the next day. Didn’t even have to put the replacement on my phone to realize it was messed up too. Will be looking at different cases. Not interested anymore in getting a 3rd defective case. 3/5 stars instead of 5/5 because I did once love these cases.

Update: After 4 days of having the case, my credit card slid out of the card holder. They really need to find a secure way to keep the cards in the slot- this case has no lip on the other side of the door to stop the card from sliding out the opposite side. So frustrating. I'm returning this defective item.I purchased this case because I needed to be able to store a credit card in it. It seems to work great with one card in it, but when I add a second card, I don't feel like the case is securely closed. I worried about being able to get the card out easily- and it's not a problem. I can access my card very quickly. Seems very sturdy and didn't add a ton of bulk to the phone. I feel like it's easier to hold my phone than it was with the previous case. It also has a great raised lip to protect the screen and the camera. Very Happy with my purchase so far- but this is only day 2.

I really do like the overall purpose that this product was built for.PROS: It fits my iPhone XS Max very well. I really like the raised face edging they constructed to protect my glass. The product feels nice in the hand but extremely slippery for dry hands.CONS: The only issue I have is w/ the construction. The product is built with two separate materials: a rubber composite and a brittle hard polymer/plastic. The joint where they both meet at the “do not disturb” button on my iPhone area causes the two materials to slightly separate. I literally had to push down the plastic and it “clicked” in place. With every day handling this can be a problem. Will update if problems arise.

I’ve had this case for a while and it’s held up very well. I don’t like carrying a wallet and it holds 2 cards and my ID perfect. Any more then 3 cards and it’s too tight. Case has protected it so many times. The sliding door on the back will scratch ur cards if it’s on top and u get some dirt or sand in there so just be warned.

Everything wall all fine with it, however the sturdiness of the case isn’t value for your buck, it last and leaves a mark.

When I first got it my card is safe and secured. Now.. the card holder it easily opens therefore my card can come out without me knowing it.. so I don’t put my card in it any longer which depletes the purpose.

Usual good quality from Spigen.Has this slim armour cs on all my iPhones.Good build quality, slot lasts and lasts without breaking and I don’t carry a wallet. Just one card and my photo driving licence. Nothing else needed.

Had this a good few months now and still love it. Slim design offering great protection. Still fits in all my pockets. And carries a couple of cards everywhere I go.

Sliding back became annoying as it kept clicking every time I picked it up. My partner tried filing the edge which stopped the clicking but then it looked awful. Disappointed and would not buy again

It’s the phone nicely without adding to much bulk, holds 2 cards albeit a little fiddly to remove them, a little slippery otherwise a nice case.
