These are great and do the job. Althought if it is used on clothes it doesnt work well. The safety pins come undone and poke you easily so i dont recommend to use on clothing.

I would prefer all black, so they appear more as a shadow than a bright safety pin.

Expectation:I expect a well made safety pin that will hold up for repeated usage and for long term storage.Good:1. These pins are thin enough to go through the material without causing damage.2. The colors are nice so that they do not stand out too much from the cloth.Bad:1. The color of the pins rubs off fairly quickly leaving a blotchy appearance of the pin. Not a show stopper but annoying.2. I put one pin in each of my shoe laces for emergencies, and both pins bent fairly quickly. So in response, I moved the pins into he inside of the shoes beside my ankle, where I have not had a problem with them.Overall:They are very light weight and functional but I do not think they were the best choice for my usage. I am not an "prepper", but I am a Boy Scout leader and I always need something like this on hand encase someone's pants rip on a camp out or if a backpack strap breaks. These pins are too thin for the backpack, I think they would bend and fail, but they are perfect for an emergency clothing repair.

I needed some black and white safety pins for last-minute adjustments on a costume. Thankfully I was able to get it mostly completed, but had lost some weight prior to wearing. The black pins helped narrow the size of the skirt, which is no small feat given that the skirt itself is heavy linen and weighs 10 lbs. You don't get many pins for the cost, but they are great when you need specific colors!

Pins pop open on you!

I like that they have black if u need to pin a black top and white if u need to pin a white top. U know when they gap sometimes. Doesnt show. First time i noticed tgem. Good purchase

You only usually see silver safety pins and you can ser them sometimes if you pin a dress or top. Most clothes ate either a black or white background. So these will blend in with the outfit. Great idea! A little more expensive than silver but worth it.
