Birdhouses & More: Easy-to-Build Houses & Feeders for Birds, Bats, Butterflies and Other Backyard Creatures

I have checked this book out on library loan so many times and was considering copying some of the plans. When I realized I liked so many of the patterns, it was a better idea to purchase my own copy. Note the title: Birdhouses and MORE. Other books have only birdhouses but this has a few feeders and even a toad house for your garden!

I wanted to find out how to make a bird feeder and the book had that information

There are lots of great design ideas and very good pictures and instructions. This is a really good birdhouse book with designs that the birds will like too!

My husband has recently taken up woodworking as a hobby. I had found this at a large hardware store, but thought it was pricey. Amazon to the rescue! On the Amazon site, I found several options of books of wooodworking projects. It was a great way to get my husband started, and his first project (a birdfeeder) was a masterpiece.

Not what I was looking for very few birdhouse patterns.

Unfortunately, I thought there would be more of a variety of bird houses. A bit disappointed!

Useful book full of ideas

An excellent buy. Clear instructions and illustrations with plenty of interesting information. Our local birds are going to be spoiled for choice for housing. Delivery much quicker than anticipated. Well worth buying. Worthy of an extra star.
