Disney Deluxe Mad Hatter Costume Hat for Kids with Peach Scarf and Wire Brim

This is really a gorgeous hat that I am tempted to wear just for fun sometimes! It is very tall and big, which is exactly what I wanted. The fit was perfect for me - I have somewhat of a large head for a small woman, size 6.25, and it stayed on my head very well except for a few times when a brisk wind whisked up and I had to hold it on with my hand. Of course I had to be careful getting in and out of my car as I dislodged a few times that way. The quality is excellent and quite honestly I might have expected to pay more for such a nice hat. I added a few trinkets to it here and there to turn up the quirk factor, bought some funky clothes at a thrift store and finished it off with some vivid purple & black tights. I created my own makeup look based loosely on Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter and my costume looked great. In fact I received more attention and compliments on this costume than any other I have ever worn for Halloween, and I have been a witch, an elf, a hobo clown, a cat, Medusa, and the historic explorer Vasco de Gama among others.The colors on this hat are shiny without looking cheap and if were going to change anything, I might purchase a different color satin ribbon. The peach color is fine but I am more of a purple and green type of person. That is pure personal preference of course. If you are looking for a great Mad Hatter hat, I don't think you are going to find better than this!

The hat has the perfect whimsical shape as JD’s hat from the movie. The fit is a little small(I think it says something about being a child size??) so if you’re buying it for someone with a larger head, it might not fit. It was perfect for the halloween costume they wore for the Disney Halloween party this year.

loved this, a lil expensive for just the hat, but compared to the ones that come with the costumes, the extra monies spent was worth it!

VERY PLEASED. Bought for for 8 y.o. Halloween costume. Ordered at 11am, chose free 2 day Prime shipping, had in hand at 7:45pm SAME DAY. Go Amazon! Hat does arrive in a typical 4 inch tall Amazon box, so obviously the hat is lowered down and in a plastic bag to ship. Lowered top to brim smartly though, not smashed. As soon as I received it, I opened it, fluffed it out and turned the hat over to fill with clean, crumpled/balled newspaper ads. The hat was handsome and tall like Abe Lincoln's hat in minutes! I'm leaving it stored this way as well. The hat I received is a clear representation of the recent live action movie hat, and is a solid child's costume piece for the price. I'd say local theatre stage quality. Great weight, lovely fabrics, fully lined inside in black, well made. Brown color is not as flat looking as the photo in person- colors and patterns are exactly right to somehow clash slightly while complimenting. Just like the Hatter would make- Vibrant overall look, but not cartoonish, ugly or overpowering. Has a size adjuster inside, I didn't need to adjust it for our use. Feather and 10/6 card are heavy printed stock/cardboard. Both look very real and authentic up close. A real feather wouldn't last the life of the hat. I would certainly order from this brand again and recommend this hat to other buyers.

My daughter wore this hat with her Alice in Wonderland costume. It's great quality for a costume hat, and though she wore it several times (and even used it to hold Halloween candy), it held up beautifully. It's a really cute hat!

It's an absolutely wonderful hat. It is well-made and will last for years. Don't skimp on the details and buy the best Mad Hatter hat on AMAZON!
