Mattel Universal Wicked Deluxe Glinda Fashion Doll & Accessories Including Crown & Scepter, Movie-Inspired Look with Posability

I was fortunate enough to grab one of these before they were recalled due to a naughty typo on the back of the packaging. I won't take it out of the box as I had anticipated b/c it's now a collector's item. But it's a really nicely done doll. It's articulated, the costume looks well-made with lots of details, and the accessories that come with are sufficient (to be honest, they could have put more effort - for example, the crown is more dull grey than it is shiny silver, and that would have been an easy and cheap upgrade). But overall I'm really pleased with the quality and attention to detail.

The doll is exactly like Glinda from the Wicked movie. The details are all there. Love Wicked and so happy I was able to find it on Amazon when I did. This was a hard to find doll around Christmas time. Especially since they took it off the market for a bad website.

I fell in love with this movie and just had to have the doll, Glinda! She is well made and adore the dress. But, with that being said of course as an artist I am going to one up this manufacture and do some tweaks to the crown and dress. So thankful to find her here on Amazon as they were taken off the shelves in store way to soon due to a misprint on the boxes. Well, we all know that whole story. But whatever, had to have her anyways. That area has been completely covered with a black sticker. So don't hesitate on this purchase.
