Worked great as a replacement on my old compressor!

Straight to the point. “Don’t buy this motor.” The motor was a 5 hp 230 volt single phase which ran one time. The pulley on the motor shaft look like it was moving in and out, making it seem that the pulley was not tight. It was the motor shaft moving in and out. Motor never ran again.

Replaced the motor on a jointer. Easy swap and works great

The media could not be loaded.  My compressor is about 15 years old and the motor burned out. Popping breakers constantly. This on did take a bit of adjustment. The old one had huge bolts where this one has very small bolt slots. I had to go down to 5/16" from 3/4". That still worked for me.The key was missing. The cap has a place for it but it was not included. Luckily my old one fit perfectly.Hook up was super easy. I didn't have to change the direction at all.For now, I am happy. I see other reviews about it not lasting but only time will tell. Bottom line: I'm back in business.

Comes wired for 220. Make sure you change to 110 if needed. Do not plug into an extension cord. Plug directly into receptacle. Tried the extension when testing. No good 👍

This motor didn’t have instructions for how to use 110 volts but after hooking it to 220 it worked fine. Also, there was info on the motor as to converting it to clockwise rotation. Strong.

Running a 15 CFM 125psi compressor pump for sand blasting. Fills up a 120-gallon tank fast and doesn't get hot.

I purchased this motor for my Craftsman sander. Works like a charm. Much better than the one I replaced. Buyer be aware...the motor comes set for counter clockwise rotation from factory and set for 220v. Simple fix if you need clockwise and 110v.

The motor works fine, but I thought I ordered a motor with a5/8 shaft, not a 7/8 shaft, but I made it work.

Arrived on time. Motor is much weaker than the 3hp motor that was on previously. I put a smaller pulley on it from the start but it kicks the internal breaker on the motor if I try running the compressor on all 3 cyl. I luckily am able to cut cylinders out on the compressor so can run it on 2 cyl until I get a smaller pulley. Other than that it works ok so 3 stars only.
