I got these for the office. I got tired of not having a plate when I needed one. Occasionally people bring in cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, etc. I got tired of eating off a paper napkin. These will do the job, but I wouldn’t expect it to do much more than that. They are pretty thin so I wouldn’t put anything heavier than a slice of cake on it. They are dessert plates, so they should handle dessert just fine. If you have other plans for them, that involves anything heavier than a slice of cake, I would skip these. I am not buying the “Built to last” in their description. Anyway, I am deducting a star for the quality, but everything else was accurate and it will do what it is supposed to do.

Got the 9" plates. Perfect for everyday use. Now if you are planning to buy paper plates for a party or holiday, I recommend you buy the 10-12" ones to get as much food as possible on your plate. However, for normal-sized meals, these 9" ones are perfect. They fit easily in your hand and are not too heavy. I find them to be the perfect size for a single person like me who doesn't want to do any dishes. These are thick and not flimsy. The deep groove to the plate helps keep food in the plate and not spilling everywhere. I have put these plates in the microwave with no problem. I do think the pink color is slightly lighter in person, though.

These plates look pretty good, though they are quite thin and flimsy. I pulled one out of the plastic wrapping and just a little bit of tension on an edge really deformed it. (See my pictures...) I microwaved one of them for a minute and it bubbled and was ruined. On the package it doesn't say anything about being microwave safe, I just tested that out on my own, as I do with all the plates I review.The main thing about these plates is that they look cute and nice, great color for a kid's birthday party or something like that, but I wouldn't advertise these as being for 'any occasion'... For example, I worked with my mom's catering company for many years, and we used many different paper and plastic plates, and I wouldn't recommend these for a wedding. Even a piece of cake would be tricky to hold in one hand, as the plates are a bit flimsy, so you'd have to hold it with two hands to be safe, which would prevent people from standing around eating cake or being able to easily trust the plates with any decent amount of food on them, unless they had 2 hands to hold them with.

I ordered these CUSINIUM 50-pack Gold Plastic Dessert Plates for an upcoming grad party and while the quality is there, it's not exactly the color I was wanting. These plates are of good quality - the plastic I feel will be sturdy enough to hold most anything you would be serving on them. The color however, is more of what I would consider almost a shade of light brown. To be fair, I feel like they do look as they are pictured, I guess I was just hoping that they would be more "gold" color in person, since that is the color listed in the description. Will still definitely be used for our party.

For me, an apple a day literally keeps the doctor away. I need the fiber, among other things. This plate is just the right size for my apple when it is sliced up. It is nice and sturdy, so it won't bend or give when I am eating from it.It would also be good for pumpkin pie with whipped cream, a couple of brownies, or a delicious piece of german chocolate cake!I like the bright green color also. The photo from my cell phone does not do the color justice. It is actually a strong primary green color.If you need dessert plates, these are perfect!
