Good little skull
Arrived in a foam box in perfect condition. My son enjoyed painting this. We sealed it with a clear coat after painting. Very pleased with this ceramic skull.

Thirsty bisque, but nicely detailed cast with tons of potential
I took a chance on this link because I was looking for a small realistic-ish skull to paint. These roughly fill the palm of your hand. I am not into ceramics or glazes so I cannot speak to how those techniques or firing works with this product. Instead, I went the acrylic route. Initially, I was discouraged by the rough-sandpapery bisque finish. It DRINKS paint and was eating my brushes/markers.But I am solidly a FAN of this product with a few adjustments. If you seal before painting it becomes a super friendly and workable surface. Seal, paint, final seal. What I most appreciated about these casts were the amount of detail that can be pulled out with washes and inks (again, after base sealing). The detail in the cast is impressive... little crevices everywhere. I'm attaching a picture of some works in progress to demonstrate.NOTE: I ordered during COVID, but didn't experience a problem with delays unless it was a larger shipment. Three or so at a time was no problem and timely. I gave this product 5 stars because of 1) the potential with a little experimentation and 2) the reliable delivery for small orders. This little guy may not work for everyone, it depends what you're after. :) Happy painting!

Not that big
The size came smaller than expected but it is easy to paint and it looks great. It really depends on how you want to paint it but it is good.

Skulls
The quality was great. Love the shape. Wish I could find other styles of skull. I did have to prime them before painting. I loved decorating them they are fun.
