I bought a can of this for a 5 day camping trip we took out to a very remote part of the Northern California coast this last summer. As there were no facilities within a 2 hour drive, resupply was out of the question and we knew by the end of 5 days, having ice still left in our cooler to keep raw meat cold was questionable.Therefore, I got this to make some 'Cowbow Stew' for dinner on our last night. For what it is, it is a great product. The flavor is good, especially considering it came out of a can. Fresh beef of course would be better, but I was pleasantly surprised how good this tasted in the stew we made.Another bonus was that it came in large, stew sized chunks, instead of shredded, which was what I was expecting based on the pictures. This made it even better for making stew. It also has minimal ingredients and is gluten free so it's perfect if you are preparing it for people with dietary restrictions, like I was.As far as flavor goes, I would give it probably a 3.5-4 star review - but considering it has the convenience coming out of a can, and therefore does not need refrigeration, it gets a 5 star rating. I will definitely be getting this again next time we want to make some beef stew on one of our camping trips!

i did not care for the amount of fat/grease in the can from the product..i am concerned about the amount of pinkness in the meat (it looks like it is cooked in the can, so there is no way to judge if ground beef was cooked to proper temperature or not {i cooked it after opening can to make sure}) ..i won't reorder the ground beef..

Cans arrived dented, you'd think prior to shipping someone would try to send dent free product.

This small can is suppose to serve 14 people. How is 2 oz. of regular meat a serving? It was packaged as if it was dehydrated or freeze dried and instead it is just very, very, very expensive canned meat. And it is not returnable. I do not recommend this product!

Quick, can saute the onions, peppers, onions, garlic and greens in the fat of the can. Adding the beef until you have the blend you like for anything you want to use it for. I am going to can my own😁🌸

Received today my order haven’t tried yet but I bought 5 cans and 1 can of chicken was dented on side unuseable
